The click wheel is almost 100% useless with the cover on. I tried cutting out the thin circular area with a razor and discovered the real problem is the overall sleeve is too short for the 4g, the round area is perhaps 1/8" too high which causes it to press on the bottom of the click wheel all the time and make it unusable.

If it were the right size it would be 5 stars.

I only tried the black one.

Good things this product does; protect an iPod from bumps and drops. Bad; it just doesn't fit properly. The sleeve is too short, and so constantly slides up my player. That sliding interferes with the controls, and is generally very very irritating. I would not recommend this product.

I bought this case at Walmart for about $15 a few days ago (BUY IT THERE. SHIPPING IS $13 ON AMAZON). It fits really well on the new nano and looks cool (well the black one does... not much of a fan of the clear one). Belkin also had a case just like this for the 3g nano that worked well for it so I decided to get this one. The bad thing is that the click wheel is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to use. The easy way to fix it is to just cut out the click wheel cover with those tiny scissors from a swiss army knife or something and the case still looks awesome and protects the ipod very well. I'd buy this if you don't want a hard case or one of those cheap plastic protectors.
