The click wheel is almost 100% useless with the cover on. I tried cutting out the thin circular area with a razor and discovered the real problem is the overall sleeve is too short for the 4g, the round area is perhaps 1/8" too high which causes it to press on the bottom of the click wheel all the time and make it unusable.

If it were the right size it would be 5 stars.

I only tried the black one.

Good things this product does; protect an iPod from bumps and drops. Bad; it just doesn't fit properly. The sleeve is too short, and so constantly slides up my player. That sliding interferes with the controls, and is generally very very irritating. I would not recommend this product.

I bought this case at Walmart for about $15 a few days ago (BUY IT THERE. SHIPPING IS $13 ON AMAZON). It fits really well on the new nano and looks cool (well the black one does... not much of a fan of the clear one). Belkin also had a case just like this for the 3g nano that worked well for it so I decided to get this one. The bad thing is that the click wheel is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to use. The easy way to fix it is to just cut out the click wheel cover with those tiny scissors from a swiss army knife or something and the case still looks awesome and protects the ipod very well. I'd buy this if you don't want a hard case or one of those cheap plastic protectors.

The silicone sleeve turned out to be a waste of money because I had to buy another plastic case from another seller. The silicone case did not fit the nano, it would slip out of the case. And the case actually covers the controls, which blocked my ability to use the controls on the ipod and make it hard to use. And, the case doesn't even cover or protect the screen at all, which is probably the part you would want to protect the most. Do not buy this product. There are many others out there that are much better than this one.

I bought these because I was giving my old iPod to someone, and it had my name engraved on the back so I wanted a way for the recipient to cover that up. In the photo the items appear to be solid black and solid white; however, the "white" one is actually opaque, more clear than white. Otherwise, they do the job and work just fine.

looks great and it seens that it's very good quality. But it's true that is hard to turn the wheel of the ipod.

These silicone sleeves are a good value to protect an ipod and keep it nice longer. The sleeves are nice looking and nice to the touch; however, since they cover the touch pad as well, they do reduce to some degree the accuracy of the touch pad. It doesn't bother me much but others may not like that.

These are simple cheap sleeves for the 4th G iPod Nano. Found the fit ok but not the best quality. For the money they are worth it though.

The cover fits snugly, looks pretty nice, protects the ipod, and keeps it looking sleek. The BIG flaw is you cant control the Ipod wheel with the cover on, it is near impossible to go up one or two songs on a list by scrolling with the wheel.

It is to the point where I am considering cutting a circle in the middle of the sleeve in order to be able to use the wheel.

The price was good, but BEWARE!

Shipping is $13.00. Ridiculous.

I felt that the items were well made. It fit my ipod nano

4g well. It looks great as well.

There is only one big problem.

The clicker is soo difficult to control.

The material isn't very sensitive to the ipod,

and I find myself relying on shuffle now.

If this doesn't bother you, I would recommend this product.
