This really is 50ft of Cat5e for an impossible price. Works great, no problems. I bought serveral.

This is honestly one of the best ethernet cords I have ever used. It has survived quite a few closings in doors. Great product!

Do you want your computer somewhere that is much better but cannot have it there because your current cat five ethernet cable is too short? Well this cable is just the thing that you need and it is really great for some lan parties where people have to bring their own cables to school or if you are going to school and you need to plug into the schools network for internet access.

It really is a 50 foot cable, which extends from my room, down the hallway, to another room. I use it with my XBOX 360 to connect to my internet router. I plug it directly into both, and it works well, with no delay.

I would recommend getting this cable rather than a wireless router simply because of the price and speed. Your connection will be faster without wireless delay and the cord should be long enough for you. You will also save around $80.

The cord is thick and has been jammed in the door many times, but shows no signs of wear/tear.

The only negative quality is that it came rolled up and still retains its curly characteristics, rather than being a straight cord down my hallway.

I needed an ethernet cable to connect my modem to my wireless router in another room. Buying a 50' cat5e cable (capable of gigabit internet speeds) made me a bit nervous, as I didn't want any signal degradation over that long of a distance. Luckily enough, there is absolutely no signal degradation. I drilled a hole through the wall in the other room, fed the cable through it, and hooked it up - works great! The only downside is that the cable isn't very sturdy, and got tangled very easily (large knots). I accidentally put a staple directly through the cable trying to secure it to the floor, and it still works just fine. Good enough for me!

Length:

50 ft says it all! I bought this cable for use in my dorm, seeing as for some reason the ethernet cable output is on one side of the room. Anyways, this cable is strong, yet flexible enough to maneuver throughout the room. I put it running along side the wall of the room to the other side and it is more than long enough.

Connection:

So far I've used this on by breaks for watching television, using the internet to play Starcraft 2, COD Black Ops, Modern W. 2, and to watch movies/shows on Netflix. This cable has not dropped the connection (except for Black Ops, but I highly doubt that has anything to do with the cable seeing as it doesn't log me out of the playstation network only out of the game).

Cons:
None that I can think of. This might sound stupid but make sure you don't underestimate the 50 ft.

Simple, flexible cable that works fine. I do think the outer jacket is a bit thin compared to other Cat cables Ive used before..but..the price is right.

So on a search of finding a perfect 50 foot cable to hook up my Xbox 360 to Live(my modem is exactly 50 feet away from my 360!!!), I found this one. Although I doubted this cable wouldn't be as good as I expected at first; after I got it in my mailbox(shipping only took a few days...)and have been using it for months, I can say that this product indeed works! Besides from the good protection on the outside, the inside is just as great. I've been playing on my Xbox 360 since I got this cable(about 2-3 months now) and never did I have to worry about the cable(never dropped connection or never disconnected me from Live randomly) This product is perfect for those gamers who want to experience the real intense fast-paced online gaming like Modern Warfare 2 or Halo 3, etc... on any type of console or PC without having to worry about wireless network or space when their modems are not that close to the system. I really recommend this product.

I have an Xbox 360 with the wireless (white) connection. My signal kept dropping out, so I ran this Belkin A3L791-50-BLK-S 50-Foot RJ45 CAT5E Patch Cable, Snagless Molded (Black); through the crawlspace of my house and it works like a charm.

This is why I love Amazon. This ethernet cable is under $15 for a 50ft cable. Try doing that at Best Buy, or any of the other big box stores. The cable itself is a good cable, no problems. It does what an ethernet cable is suppose to do.
