Unlike my other belkins, for some reason this yellow 50 footer seems to want to twist up - like a phone cord liukes to twist up, but not quite so bad. Multiple attempts to untwist have been unsuccesful. Don't know why it's just the yellow one, none of my other belkin cables do this, but there ya go. Not a big problem, really, since it's not like a phone cord that just turns into a gigantic knot, and it'ss till usable and can still be strung along a wall, etc., but it's annoying, just the same.

Good solid product especially considering the price.
No problems for over 4 months now....
Only small (for most users unrelevant) negative: Tends to twist and tangle a bit within the isolation, so do not overdo rough handling.

I have had this product for eight months and it has worked wonderfully for me. I decided to buy it along with an SMC router to establish an internet connection in my room. This was because my parents had opened a cable internet access account, and I wanted high-speed access in my room. The cable arrived in a plain plastic bag and I found it be of excellent quality. For example, because of the location of my room it was necessary to run the cable on the outside of the house. Well, after eight motnhs of exposure and whatever weird concoction the Lord decided to throw at it, (rain, wind, stupid sister who yanked at it) it has worked fine. The plugs on the end of the cable also felt secure and I feel that they will hold up for a long time. Also, the cable is yellow but it is not "too" yellow, it is noticeable but not garish. I recommend this product for anybody who wants to save money but does not want to sacrifice quality.

i dunno about you guys, but i swear mine isn't 50 feet.....15 dollars for 50ft cable is decent price compared to bestbuy, etc.

Well, all cat5 cables are pretty much the same. It serves my purpose and works fine. Best of all, it wasn't that expensive and the color doesn't look as bad as the picture.

No, though this cord coils like one, it is not a phone cord. Aside from that minor drawback, this cord functions just fine. Though I wonder how you could rate an ethernet cord for any reason.......

A person who could speak passionately about patch cable would be riding that thin line between bizarre and pitiful. I will keep it brief since I know little good can come from either.
This patch cable rules! Tastes great, less filling.

How do you or why would you want to rate wire for a router?
Wire is wire! It is ok, but you expect it to work.
You know that you have nothing to do when you take the time to rate wire.
