Solid Product with very little room for improvement,

Updating review. 2/7/08.
Downgrading my recommendation to: "Do not buy". After a little while of having this product it is now broken. The metal clip that allows you to adjust the straps broke yesterday while I was working out. Perhaps this is an isolated incident, however with the other potential drawbacks mentioned below, I simply wouldn't chance it if I were you. ----------------------------------- I strongly recommend this product if you have a ipod classic that you would like to workout with. The quality is excellent and it has held up very well in the past couple months that I've used it. (I workout roughly 4/5 days per week). Things I really like: -Very durable -Sexy design -Dries Quickly (It gets very sweaty during my workouts) -Great Price I only have one complaint. The plastic face on the front does not easily allow manipulation of the scroll wheel to adjust volume or browse the device. This means you must take the ipod out of the case if you would like to quickly find your music or make adjustments. Sometimes this can be a bit fustrating. I call this a minor complaint because I usually set my volume and/or playlist prior to beginning a workout so this is not too much of an inconvenience. Also, if the armband provided a way to access the port on the bottom of the device then I probably would never take it out. That would make this product an absolute best buy. (I don't think that is the intent of this product so I will not list that as a complaint) All in all it is a great product.

OK But needs and Update,

Fits well, stretches well but you can't change any music when it is inserted into the sleeve. That should change. I ended up cutting a hole so I could access the menu buttons on the iPod to compensate.
Little pricey considering I have to take the iPod out to select different music.

Durable but no opening for USB connector,

Product is nice and durable. At the meatiest part, my arm is 13" around and the armband fit just fine. It's not the easiest mechanism to tighten, but once you get it as tight as you'd like, it stays on your arm rather nicely (especially through the sweating). HOWEVER this particular armband does not have an opening for the USB connector so you have to take your ipod out of the armband every time you connect it to your computer (this is rather annoying as my old armband had the bottom cut out).

Armband good only for jogging,

This armband gives a very snug fit for my iPod, meaning it is very form-fitting to the iPod and very snug on my bicep. No wiggling here. The case is lightweight and water-resistant and has a place to keep your key, VERY handy for jogging.
However, the strap's velcro was low quality and started peeling, making tightening it increasingly difficult. Furthermore, the plastic cover was too thick for my clickwheel to function. I ended up debating and the only way I could get the wheel to work was to cut a circle in the plastic (thus negating the benefit of water resistance). I ultimately also cut a slit in the bottom to access the data cable slot. The armband is permanently attached to the iPod holder, too, so once it's off your arm you either have a very large and awkwardly-shaped item to carry around or you have to wrestle the iPod out of the very snug neoprene holder. I recommend it only for use when jogging.

pretty good while it lasted,
This review is from: Belkin Armband Case for 80/120 GB iPod classic 6G (Black/Gray) (Electronics)
overall, this armband served me well while it lasted. the securing mechanism is a little hard to use with one hand, as the band needs to be fed through a failry narrow metal slot, which is made even more difficult as the end of the velcro strip tends to get caught as it goes through. i stuck small velcro squares on the clear faceplate to mark where the forward, reverse, and play buttons were located when my ipod was in the sleeve, that way i could 'feel' for the buttons while jogging etc.
then my metal fastener broke. and now the amrband is worthless. it wasnt that expensive, but it only lasted about 6 weeks...booo!

This armband did not work for me. it was too big and bulky, and the armband did not tighten enough to stay on my arm.

Good protection, maybe too good.,
This review is from: Belkin Armband Case for 80/120 GB iPod classic 6G (Black/Gray) (Electronics)
I bought this case because of the streamlined, seamless design. It has a nice, full-face screen protector that offers great visibility. Unfortunately, you have to remove the iPod completely to charge it. If you want to avoid scratching your iPod, you'll want to leave it in a case as much as possible.

Do Not Buy - Cheap Material,

I used to own one of these a while back. I thought it was the best armband out there... until it broke. The metal clip that basically the material wraps through/around broke one day during my workout. I assume this is from wear and tear. What was Belkin thinking when using this cheap metal? I mean cmon guys... people are working out with these. They should be made to withstand pressure from a bulging bicep.

I like it...but it's not the one in the picture,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The one shipped to me seems to be the same product in the picture, but it is not the same color. Overall it is a good product. It doesn't slip off when I am running like some other bands and my iPod comes out of the holder without a huge struggle. The earbud holder is also a nice touch. My headphone cord no longer gets all tangled in my gym bag.
