Belkin Case with Carabiner Clip for iPod nano 2G (Clear)

As all others said, this is a wonderful case: perfect fit and great for showing off the color of your Nano (mine is the Red 8GB Nano). The Click wheel protection is the best I've seen in any case (and I've owned a lot of cases for my collection of iPods and Nanos!) The protection is definitely first rate.

BUT there is one flaw with the case. The round-hole opening in the bottom of the case for earphone jack insertion is only wide enough for the stock Apple ear buds connector. If you typically use a 3rd party headset or earphones (such as Shure E4C that I use with my iPods and Nanos) that have a plastic plug-base that is thicker than the apple ear buds' then your headphones will NOT fit because you will not be able to fully insert the connector into the Nano (you will only hear out of one ear)! To get around this, I had to widen the round-hole in the bottom of the case. You can easily widen the hole using a slightly wider drill bit, or a pair of scissors to grind the hole wider. I used the scissors method, taking care to not scrape the rest of the acrylic case. Now the hole is wider for any headphones I chose to use. Widening the hole only took me about 10min. I just thought to let others know about this.

It's clear - it's acrylic -- what more can be said?
It's convenient and great that it clips to whatever it is that you want it to clip to, with the carabiner clip. Much better than those normal clips that come w/ most cases

Only drawback is that it scratches and nicks fairly easily --- but better that than my Nano

Fits my 2G Nano perfecty, looks pretty sturdy without taking the cool look out of my nano, the clip is pretty convenient, the case even covers the click wheel, without losing the funcionality!

I spent a long time searching for a clear case for the 2nd Generation Nano before purchasing this one. The case is very well made and is ideal for protecting the Nano while showing off the color. The thin cover for the click wheel is great!

This case is a basic case that will show off your nano's color. I found my 2nd gen nano to fit snuggly in the case. The click wheel is covered but still responds nicely. The areas of the dock connector, earphone jack, and hold button are exposed (which I think is a positive since you don't have to take your nano out of the case to use the dock connector). I have not found the earphone jack to come loose. Most earphone plugs should plug in as the hole for the earplug is large enough for most earphones. The only negative is the clip. To use it, you have to use a small plastic tab with a loop that has a metal ring on it (which the clip attaches to). If you don't want the clip and want a flush top, you have to take off the clip, take off the metal ring, open the case, remove the plastic tab/ring, replace it with a small plastic tab without a loop (that can be easily lost), and then replace your nano in the case. Other than this small annoyance, Belkin made an excellent case.

The case is wonderful and allows easy access to the wheel interface, unlike every other case I have tried.

The carabiner is trash though, my girlfriend broke hers within a few days.
Buy a small replacement carabiner for $1 at most hardware stores and this case will treat you well.

Good case, protects the iPod Nano 2G w/o too much bulk. The carabiner is strictly light-duty, and the hold button is a little hard to get to if you've got big fingers. Otherwise, does the job - and not very expensive either!

I've had the Belkin case for a month now and it is an excellent product. It was a bit of a hassel just first opening the case but once i found the little tab at the top of the case it was no problem. I haven't taken the ipod out since i got it. The case protects the ipod excellently, and the extra clip is a Godsent! Everything fits nicely and the plugs aren't impeded by the acrylic. Awesome product. Two thumbs up.

The clear case is absolutely wonderful in the sense that it covers the click wheel of my nano. I would give this product 5 stars but, there is one thing that you should consider. The ipod kind of rattles in the case and the case isn't exactly a perfect fit.

I got this case a few weeks ago and so far it works very nicely. The protection is excellent. My only problem is it can be hard to control.
