Yup... They connect my cable modem to my router, and my router to my computers. They transmit data back and forth. So far they have failed to burst into flames or snap off and poke me in the eye. So go patch cables (yay).

Has a nice smooth feel to it, good solid connectors that won't break quickly. Belkin makes great cables.

Great quality, excellent construction and strong RJ45 plugs. I have worked with a decent share of Cat5 and I have never had to cut and terminate a Belkin cable due to regular wear and tear.

Awesome, fast delivery. Arrived one day prior to the earliest day of the delivery estimate. Packaging was in good condition, did not show any signs of damage at all. It was as if I had purchased it from a retail store. The only thing unfortunate, however, is the shipping price. At more than 7 dollars, the shipping was more than the item itself! And I live only about 15-20 minutes drive away from the delivery location!

I primarily use it for my Xbox 360 to play live with. It was a great deal, considering the fact that a wireless adapter would be $100.

I needed this item to hook up my computer to the router since for online gaming wireless connection is not a good choice; For advanced applications such as VOIP, online gaming or media streaming; wireless always suffers from lags and pauses which can get really annoying over the time; Specially if you are looking for the highest quality then stay away from wireless;

So after doing lots of research I figured out this is a good cable, I am on a DSL connection with a speed of 1.28 Mbps and so far this cable delivers a good experience for speed and quality both; There is no lag while online gaming and while watching online music there is no pauses as it was before; I am enjoying music videos and Online games way better than before;

PS: This cable comes in two sizes: 25 feet and 50 ; So if you want to get connection from another room, make sure that you order the right one.

Cable is an excellent value compared to local stores. Works as described, I guess there's not much more to expect from a CAT5 cable!

I bought this because I had to rearrange the furniture in my room. The extra cabling allowed me to move my computer further away from the internet port. I share the port with my roommate in a common area. The cable is sturdy and easy to staple against the wall. I highly recommend this item!

It's a CAT5e cable. It works. The anti-snag works for me. I can't ask more. Well, its nice bright blue color makes it easy to find.

I received the cable in a timely manner and it works as it should although it is very stiff. It is advertised as Belkin cable but that is not the brand name on the cable,the brand is CMPLE. In addition it was 24' long not 25' as specified....it worked but with no room to spare. I am satisfied for the price but feel it is misrepresented. When compared to actual Belkin cable (name on it) it is thinner and considerably stiffer, the Belkin is much more supple.

This cable works great, looks great, and performs great! Excellent speeds on my wired network and lengthy at that.
