First off, I bought this strictly as a charger. The Amazon listing does not say "sync" anywhere, so I would not expect it. In that regard, it is a very nice charger. The device is well made, has a nice finish, and the cable is rugged. The prongs for the plug fold for travel use, and swivel for turning the charger 90 degrees if access to the outlet requires it. Some chargers are not accepted by the iPhone 3G, but this one works with mine without any issue. This is an excellent charger.

But what I don't understand is why others have not been able to use this as a sync cable to their computer. I use it routinely for my iPhone 3G, which is known to be finicky about sync cables, and it syncs fine. I have also used it to sync with an iPod Touch. I'm not sure why others can't use it. But for me, this was a great product at a good value even if I used it solely as a charger.

If you use both an IPhone and IPod and want to use or travel with one less charger, buy this. It charges both devices simultaneously. Works perfectly. Buy a dual 12volt charger and use the same USB cables to charge both devices in your car too. Save room and the redundant cables.

I bought this product to charge my iPod Touch 2G and my Motorola RAZR phone and it works on both. I sometimes need to wiggle the USB connectors in the adaptor, but overall the product works well. It comes with iPod and mini-USB charge cables and will only work with the cables provided. Price is reasonable considering what Apple wants for a similar device. The plug blades fold down flush for packing and the blades also rotate for use in crowded outlets or power strips.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I have a cat and he chewed my original iPod cable so I needed a new one but Apple is a little pricey with its accessories. I found this on Amazon, read the reviews and liked the price, so I bought it. Perfect. Some reviewers complained that it doesn't synch iPod devices. There are three cables that came with this, they are all labelled with what they do. The first cable only charges your shuffle. Period. The second will charge and synch your iPhone or iPod Touch and the third can be used to charge PS3 controllers and other devices with a small USB linkage. The plug folds flat so it is easy to carry in a bag or pocket. All in all this is a great product that does what it says it will do.

The Belkin Dual Charger is a great product - Compact and affordable. It comes with the whole set of USB cables to charge the different kinds of iPods. It has this way cool swivel-plug that lets you plug it into outlets that are in tight corners. Then, turn it sideways for easy access to the two USB ports.

The only drawback is the slightly setback USB ports. They don't allow you to plug in the original iPod shuffle. Anything bigger than a traditional USB cable head will not be able to connect properly.

Given the list of advantages, I'm pleased with the Belkin Bual Charger.

My family has many ipods, and we had one older dock that didn't work with either my 4th gen nano or my daughter's 5th gen nano so every time we charged them, we used the computer which could be a hassle.
These are inexpensive and both nanos charge just fine on them so it's exactly what we needed.
I'm not sure about using it as a syncing cable, I've never tried that.

This works exactly as advertised. It's well made, sturdy and the cables included are thicker than the stock Apple cables. I don't know if thicker necessarily means better for relatively short cables, but it certainly gives me more confidence in the build quality.

I tried using the cable to synch my iPhone 3GS with my MacBook Pro and it worked just fine.

Each USB output is rated for 5V / 550mA. So you shouldn't plug in anything that requires more than this. Take a look at the numbers on your existing chargers to double check.

I was looking for a charger for my iPod touch. Love that it has 2 USB ports and prongs collapse for easy packing. Use it all the time at home and away.

I really love this product because it comes with a charger for my iPod Touch and it also has an adapter for my Blackberry phone. Its just beautiful! I suggest that if you have a blackberry or an iPhone/Touch/or any of the other apple products to get this.
