The cable is fine for applications where you have a monitor that is 15" or below and runs in low resolution. If you are planning to run a larger monitor, like most of us do, then this product will not meet your standards. The result of coupling this cable to a 19" monitor running high-resolution are ghostly images. In short pay the 30 - 40 USD to purchase a thicker cable.

I have my old 17" CRT hooked to this running 1024X768 and I don't see any ghosting like the previous review. Actually I have a TV tuner card and the HD looks better on the CRT than my LCD which is an HD display with 6' DVI cable. Even bigger difference watching SD. Haven't tried this cable with the LCD hooked to it, so maybe that is his situation.

The extra 10' this cable provides is definitely useful. I use it with a portable projector in a large lecture hall, and it's definitely desirable to have this when the speaker wants to use a laptop with the projector while speaking in the front.

I had this delivered with an Amazon Fresh order to extend the connection between my desktop and monitor. I hooked it up and experienced shadow/ghosted video. I tried moving the cable around, avoiding other cables, etc. but noting improved the display. The ghosting is so bad that it gives me a headache to read text on the screen for several minutes. Judging by other reviews, it must be hit and miss on the quality for these cables. If I could rate this a zero, I would have. This will be going in the garbage.

The first two times I plugged this into my projector, it took a couple times unplugging and replugging to get it connected. Now I can't get it to work at all. Unfortunately, I had it over a month before I tested it, so now I can't return it.

Belkin isn't high in terms of consumer name recognition - but they produce a pretty wide range of products. Cables to Routers. I've never been disappointed in any of their products which deliver to value pretty dependably. This cable is another one of those products. A simple product (VGA Extension Cord) - but it needs to work reliably. This cable was nearly the least expensive one available - and it works well / as expected with higher resolution. I'd buy as many more as needed without any regret or remorse.

The cable works and was easy to install. The connectors fit properly and the cable is long enough for most uses. The picture is somewhat blurry and has very bad ghosting. The cable probably is not well shielded. I would recommend to purchase another product with better shielding.

I was looking for an extension for my 42"tv/monitor in the living room when i found this one i have bougth belkin products before and have had good luck with them this was a very good buy for the price better than going to the retail stores and buying there.

I used this to extend the cable between my ViewSonic display monitor and desktop. It created a terrible ghosting/shadowing effect on the display. Terrible headache after three minutes. Now it's in the trash can.

Got this as an additional extension for plugging a laptop into a TV at home. There was already another of the same chords plugging the laptop in, so this was a second extension. With a second cord the quality is reduced, but not by a significant amount. The cable does its job and does it well. No complaints.
