i'm using this with an canon optura 500 on a desktop pc running windows xp. it works without a hitch (as it's supposed to of course).

the price is competitive, don't get a very expensive cable, it's more of a gimmick than a performance gain.

I would definetely recommend this for anyone wants
to transfer video from miniDV player to their computer.
Its 10-100X faster than USB cable. Its a very good cable
for the price. In most stores, the price of a similar product is over $30. I got it for less than $10.

Excellent quality. Works as expected. The cable is a bit on the thick side but it is shielded with braided wire. Highly recommended.

I have been involved in electronics for 35 years and I just cannot believe how much people are paying for cable connections these days just because the product comes nicely packaged and the cables look thick which is just lots of foam used to fool you. Believe me, they are all the same and the pretty gold colored connector is not going a bit of difference.

Whether it's going to be used to connect your sound system, High Definition TV or Blu-Ray DVD you should not be paying between $50 and $100 for a cable that cost a couple of dollars to make. I would recommend this product to anyone who is not looking to get taken by retailers selling this same item for five to ten times its value.

I purchased this cable for connecting my Mini-DV camcorder to my laptop for capturing video. The cable works exactly as advertised. Furthermore, it is not flimsy, and has a durable shield around the cable, protecting it from wear and tear. The price is great at $9. Highly recommended. This cable performs exactly as it should.

Works just fine. I was worried that the three foot cable wouldn't be long enough, but I use it to transfer video from my camcorder to my laptop, and I've yet to be bothered by the cable. The transfer software that came with my Dell works great, and the cable itself performs wonderfully. No complaints.

Right length, no problems transferring from Panasonic PVGS-19 camcorder to LG DVD recorder

This cable works great with my compaq notebook and my sony handicam. It's a very nice looking cable that has the right lenght.
