With this kind of product, it just come down to if it works or it doesn't. Unlike speaker or video cables, the quality of shielding or core material does not really make the differences.
There are standard for USB 1.1, and USB 2.0. If the cable was manufactured to meet those standard, it works. If it didn't... Well, it won't work.
This product works well with all my needs. But if you are looking for cables for USB 2.0 products, look else where. USB 2.0 requires much higher quality cable.

Be forewarned. This cable (Belkin 6ft F3U134-06) is not a USB 2.0 cable. I'm looking at the package that Amazon shipped to me. It clearly states 12 Mbps transfer speed, not the 480 Mbps of a USB 2.0. I'm sending this falsely-advertised junk back!

Instead of the pictured Belkin cable, I got a flimsy generic cable. Total and complete rip off.

I had purchased a mouse for my daughter becasue it was for a child and it turned out the cord was to short. I purchased the Belkin Extension Cable and connected to the mouse cable and it worked well.

Great USB cable, durable made very well.
I use this cable to add a extra USB port on my desk so I don't have to bend over and plug in flash sticks or other USB devices.

Belkin is a very good brand name and was in perfect condition when I received it. Local Best Buy wanted 30.00 dollars and this was 6.00 dollars thru Amazon

Great value. I probably saved 60% over what I would have spent at Staples or Office Depot.

Sent quickly, reasonably priced, reliable vendor. Couldn't find this short length at our local Radio Shack or Wally World. Amazon is turning into our first stop for most shopping these days!

This cable was used as an extension for my USB cable to my printer. Performs as advertised.

Honestly, when I first started seraching for this product, I didn't even know that it existed... I was stoked to find that I wasn't just making things up again. I have never had an issue with it, and it works just fantastically. I would definately suggest this particular product in the market for anything similar.
