As a college design student I am frequently carrying my laptop around, but would just throw my mouse and mouse pad into my backpack, and this wasn't really the best idea, as the mouse pad would get folded and the mouse would be slightly damaged. So I was pretty excited when I found the mouse trap but I was skeptical that the surface wouldn't be good for mousing, however I was totally wrong, it is definitely one of the best mouse pads I have used. Also even though the mouse might create dimples and divots on the surface, it quickly regenerates to its smooth original form.

My Mom came for a visit and brought this interesting gadget with her: The Mouse Trap. I was so fascinated by it that I ordered one immediately for myself. It is a great thing to have especially if you have a laptop and use it in various places. It's a real nice material and folds up like a pouch. When it is folded up you can put your mouse in there and anything else you can fit. In mine, I have my mouse, pens and pencils and a few of my memory cards for quick access. You unzip it when you use it and it is then your mouse pad. When it is unfolded, it has a ring on the bottom part (the part you put on the surface) that acts as a grip so you are not sliding all over the place while using your mouse. This item is a must have and I am so glad that I purchased it!

It does what it is suppose to do and it is so simple, but so cool.

My husband and I each have one of these. We store our laptop mouse in it, and then just toss it in our backpack! These are the coolest things!

I love this Belkin Mouse Trap Mouse Pad. It complements my cultured lifestyle in which I only buy the best. I have no problem paying premium prices for items such as Monster Cables or anything from Apple due to my eclectic tastes. And yes, heads do turn when people see me pull this bad boy out. I can see their eyes are filled with envy when I tell them how much I paid for this work of functional art.

So glad they brought this back! I've had mine for 3+ years, carried around the world with me and have never had a problem. If anything, it has saved my mouse and stylus from getting crushed in many tight situations. Love it.

Love the mousepad - it's already had a year or so of use and still looks good as new! No problems with the zipper yet!

I thought this was a clever idea, and would solve the problem of my mice getting damaged while I packed it with my laptop into my bag. It isn't. It works no better than any other padded bag. It's function as a mouse pad is basically useless, as the bend in it created by the bag functionality makes it worthless. Furthermore, the zipper on it became stuck the first time I used it, rendering it useless even as a bag. What a waste of money.

I LOVE This Mouse Pad! Its super soft & flexible, washs right up if it gets dirty (I hand wash it in seconds & let it air dry) & the nonskid back keeps it right where you put it; plus when you unzip it - it flatens right out for immediate use. I was concerned about the zipper rubbing against my wrist but the piped edging remedy's that issue.
Honestly I was looking more for a carrying case for my wireless mouse more than a mouse pad; something to protect it while carrying it in my computer bag back & forth to classes & work. I got both needs rolled up into one great deal. It fits the bill prefectly - Great product!

This is the only mouse accessory that I would ever need and have found useful. Great things about it:
-Very comfortable, malleable, i can fold it over the side of a desk or leave it flat and its comfy for my wrist.
-Enough room for all sized mice, wether wireless or wired
-Great idea to have the pad as a zipped pouch, to pack up the mouse and keep it safe (usually i'd throw mouse in laptop bad but now its protected)
-Comes in a variety of great colors.
