I fell in love with an HP 17" laptop and bought it. After a tireless search of cases, sleeves, etc. that seemed to stop at the 15.4" size; I though that I'd never find a case that I truly wanted. Then I found a Belkin case and even though that style wouldn't work for my HP bohemoth; this one did and I love it. It holds my laptop firmly without being so tight that I have to strain to get it closed. I'd seriously contemplated spending $70 for something that I didn't want before I scored this not-so-little gem. The packaging specifies that it fits laptops "up to" 15.4" but trust me...you can go bigger!

I bought this in the hope that it would fit my Dell. There is not alot of items like this out there to fit the size of the XPS M1710. Well, this fits very nicely. Great for around the house or dorm room for those of you in school.

This works wonderfully well with a cool Toshiba, but not so well with an AMD based HP, because the design limits cooling with the hot AMD. With the HP, the wedge shaped cushion from Belkin is a better option.
