This is a terrific idea. It is a great way to store a laptop when it's not in use but keep it handy for easy access when you want it. It can be inconspicuously placed by a chair, sofa or bed. When in the Hideaway, the laptop is protected bar a semi-rigid exterior and a padded interior. It fits my Dell 15.4" Inspiron with no problem. It has plenty of room for the power brick, mouse spare battery, files and other accessories. It makes the laptop & accessories easy to move from one room to another, but it is not really made for carrying a laptop to work or school.

The Hideaway is divided in three sections. It's partitioned lengthwise down the center. One side holds the laptop. The other side is partitioned into two sections. The larger section is about 2/3 of the length and the smaller is about 1/3. This provides ample room for the power cord and other accessories and/or files.

The seller was excellent. Price was significantly lower than any other that I found on the net. Most places charge 2 to 3 more for the Hideaway. Shipping was free and very fast.

One note, the photo shows the gray/green model; the actual item on sale has a black exterior and tan interior.

We keep our laptop and extra things we must have right next to our chair in this. Also like that it is hard and sturdy. Very nice and great price!

Tired of seeing your laptop and other devices lying around? I was, so I ordered this case to store my laptop, iPad and cords in while not in use, but handy in the family room to pull out when needed. It would be great if it did not even have a handle, because this case is not designed to carry around - too heavy when full but perfect for what I purchased it for. There are 3 compartments, the largest I use to store the laptop (I can even plug in the cord while stored to charge it up), another smaller compartment stores the iPad, and the third one holds cords. Perfect!

This was a gift for my wife and she loves it. Very convenient (open) access to her computer and other items. Only complaint (and it's minor) is that my wife's 17" HP laptop fits very tight - consequently, it's a little difficult to get out. On the upside, it will hold and protect the computer.

In seeking the best carry bag or sleeve for my new notebook I got this one and although it looks cool in the pic, it's very heavy w/out the computer in it and it's klunky - kinda like carrying a pail or bucket around. The compartments are nice and the fact that it's rigid. Too bad it's so heavy. It's also really BIG if you don't have a 17 inch. The price was good. Seems nice and protective, as it's very thick, except the top is exposed, like in the rain - it has no cover. Also when you get sick of lugging it around you can't throw it over your shoulder. It's ok.
