Not for the iPod Mini, but great with my iPod Video ...
Especially if you're looking for something that can dock with your plastic case on, also fits various PDAs, too. So it's multi- unit functional! BUT NOT WITH THE IPOD MINI!!!

Doesn't Work with Ipod mini
I bought this to use with my ipod mini to use in the car but it lasted only 2 days. After countless adjustments I could not get it to grasp it tight enough and one of the arms broke off. It might work better with another type of device but if you use this with a ipod mini expect problems.

I installed the device in my wife's Mustang. The fit was perfect. I had to use the spacers because her cell phone wasn't very wide. It is a good product for a reasonable price.

Didn't work well in cup holder of my Sierra 2500HD. I use a Dell Axim with GPS and the holder doesnt fit well enough. The slightest bump and its falling over. Has a lot of different adapters for different holders, just not one that really fit my particular holder.

I drive a new VW Beetle, and not much room for a PDA dock where the cupholder sits under the dash. This dock came with several adjustable cup holder bases and fitting pads and it fits snugly and works great. I use it for my GPS system (on a Dell Axim).
