I purchased this case because I wanted a leather case that didn't add a lot of bulk and was inexpensive. That is exactly what I got. The 80GB Zune fits snuggly in the case. A strap over the top ensures that the Zune will not slip out and it also protects the screen. The case itself is as about as thin as it can get and still be protective. Added diameter is minimal.

Overall great case, good quality and an excellent price!

The case is nice but extremely tight. I had to return it because I wanted the flexibility of taking it in and out of the case. But it was a really tight fit and I had a difficult time both putting it in and pulling it out (to the point where I thought I was going to scratch my Zune trying to get it out of the case). I don't have a 80GB so I don't know what the fit is like though I assume it's around the same size. I also didn't like the clip, which was the point of me getting it, the metal was too stiff and I couldn't really get it on my belt easily... which defeated the point.

as compared to all other cases for te Zune that i have tried. i like this one the best, it protects the screen while not getting in the way of using any of the control buttons (a huge disadvantage to any of the other cases currently out there). i like it a lot

I went everywhere, tried many options and I found that this one fit the best, looked the greatest and offered all the connections to the zune without taking the device out of the case protector. I would buy again!

I think this is an overall great case for you Zune, but it has one
flaw. But let's start with the benefits. Your mp3 player, no matter
what brand, needs a protective case and this one fits the bill
perfectly for the moderately active user. The body of the sleeve is a
tough leather that protects the Zune's body from light punishment,
such as scratches and nicks. The player fits snugly in the sleeve and
it secured by a Velcro enclosure. The top leaves easy access to both
the hold switch and plenty of space for larger headphone jacks like
the larger Shure brand jacks. The screen protector is a flexible
plastic; it's not a hard shell-type plastic. I could push a tack
through the screen protector, for example, with relative ease. There
is a taught belt clip on the back of the sleeve that securely attaches
your Zune to your belt, pants, or underwear!

The only problem with the sleeve is the screen protector. It does not
lay flat against the screen, but rather arches over it. The screen is
still protected from external attacks like fingernails, but dust,
crumbs, and other interlopers can easily invade the space between the
screen and sleeve. This is not good. It strikes me as odd
that the rest of the sleeve fits so tightly while the screen protector
is so loose. I take the Zune out of the sleeve every few days to dust
it off...I recommend you do the same with this sleeve.

In summation, I recommend this sleeve to the moderately active user.
Placing your Zune in the cup holder on a treadmill or in your pocket
while you walk to work are about as extreme as you want to get with
this case. For more strenuous activities where your Zune is more
likely to bounce across the ground, I would HIGHLY recommend a more
impact-resistant, hard plastic shell.

This was made for the 80gb Zune and even though the heading says it works for the 120gb...I wasn't sure. But it does fit. Very snug to the point of being a challenge to put on at first. But this is a good thing as it ends up not adding much more to the size of the Zune.

All of the buttons are easily accessible and it has a clear plastic cover over the screen for protection. This was important to me as I bought the Zune to replace a Sansa that had its screen cracked when I put it in my pants pocket along with my keys. So far the plastic screen is not noticable. The belt loop seems way too tight to actually use, so if this is a big thing either you will need to spend time loosening it up or go with a different cover.

Bottomline, looks good, snug fit, all buttons accessible, fits 120gb model fine, and protects the screen.

I actually bought this along with a silicone cover. I cut up the cover and put it over the buttons and then use this with it. The case is a tight squeeze but that is good because there is no way the zune will fall out. The plastic cover over the screen takes away some of the calrity of the screen but I can still see what I need to. Sometimes theres a glare. The clip is really tight so it isn't super easy to clip onto things but once you get it clipped, it is secure. I like to use this to go running with and it works well, and it is cheaper than the arm band and more practical. Great buy all and all.

I like the look of the case and the feel of the case. It did not add to much extra bulk, and the belt clip is nice. However, the protective screen gets scratched easily and the stitching is coming undone by the belt clip.

Pretty simple, put it on your zune and it does the job of keeping it safe.
