4.0 out of 5 stars inspiring for us bigger people.
This case is a joy to have. It holds the Zune snugly and very securely, giving easy access to all the buttons through the protective plastic. The key slot on the armband is a nice touch. My only complaint is that the armband doesn't really have enough slack on it to properly fit around my arm, I have to pull extra hard just to match up the velcro sides to secure it. I...

2.0 out of 5 stars Great design, poor quality
Pros: This product is a great design, it does exactly what I wanted it to do. It holds the 80GB Zune securly to my arm while running and working out. The plastic screen keeps the Zune from getting scratched up, but still allows you full use of all the buttons.

Cons: VERY poorly made. After only 6 months of very light (3 days a week) use, the velcro that...

I suppose that is just motivation to lose the weight I suppose.

4.0 out of 5 stars 80GIG Zune Arm Band, May 9, 2008
This review is from: Belkin Neoprene Armband for Zune 80/120 GB (Black/Gray) (Electronics)
4/5.
Good: you can still control the touchpad/wheel and the plastic over it doesnt interfear at all.

Bad: Armband is too small. i dont have the "guns" but i had to have it all the way out.
Also, there is no access hole on the bottom for the recharge, so you either have to cut one, or deal with having to remove ur zune out of it everyday.
overall, i would recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not A Bad Armband If You Have An MP3 Player This Size, July 18, 2008

This review is from: Belkin Neoprene Armband for Zune 80/120 GB (Black/Gray) (Electronics)
I've had my armband for a few months and bought it for the purpose of working out while listening to music. Overall it has been a great product. I agree with some of the other reviewers, it does make my arm sweaty under the band but I don't really notice it until it's time to take it off. My regular girl-sized arms and have no problem fitting it around my arm. The only downside of the armband is that there is some bouncing on my arm when I'm moving or running while wearing it. I hoped it stayed pretty fixed in place and this is why I didn't give it the 5th star. It never slips, though which is a plus. If your MP3 player fits in this armband, it's a good choice.

Cons: VERY poorly made. After only 6 months of very light (3 days a week) use, the velcro that holds the armband around your arm began pealing off. The velcro is glued onto the armband. Why not just sew it on? It seems to me it would last longer that way. Also, after just 3 months of very light use, the actual holder began tearing.

Overall, a very good design, but very poorly made. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I got this for the Zune 80. I do not like it at all. Why: First, it's neoprene and the velcro band goes all the way around it. That means it doesn't stretch. This thing is like having a blood pressure cuff on.

Worse, the band isn't nearly long enough. I absolutely do not have big guns, and the thing barely gets around my bicep at max length. For people who actually do have big upper arms, you are completely out of luck here.

The actual compartment is made like an envelope, flat. The Zune literally goes into a slot. It's not sewn square like a box, fitted to the Zune's actual shape. Putting it in and taking it out, also not very fun.

About the only upside to this thing is that it looks cool. It's an epic failure in every practical way. I thought this might replace my DLO armband, but clearly DLO is light-years ahead of this model. I'm sticking with the DLO.

2.0 out of 5 stars I'm not a big fan., September 19, 2008

This review is from: Belkin Neoprene Armband for Zune 80/120 GB (Black/Gray) (Electronics)
This armband looked and felt cheaper than I thought it would. The Zune fits snugly -- but maybe it's TOO snug. You can barely fit the Zune into the too-small opening. I had to stretch it out and rip it to fit it in there. As the previous reviewer mentions, the plastic screen adheres to the Zune's screen and it makes it really difficult to remove (and MP3 players are hardly the type of thing you want to have to yank, pull and dig your fingers into).

I couldn't really find a comfortable tightness balance around my bicep. When it was tight enough that the Zune didn't move, it felt like the circulation was being cut off. I had better luck strapping it to my forearm, though I felt like I had on one of those things quarterbacks wear listing their plays.

The plastic screen doesn't interfere with the controls, which is its one benefit.

I'll probably continue to use this -- because though it is annoying it serves its purpose -- but I wouldn't hesitate to buy something else if it looked better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Armband I've purchased, December 12, 2008
This review is from: Belkin Neoprene Armband for Zune 80/120 GB (Black/Gray) (Electronics)
I'll make this short and sweet: If you have a zune and want to run/exercise with it, it's the perfect armband to buy. I've had previous armbands with ipods and this is without a doubt the best.

Reasons why:

Neoprene is the perfect material, it holds onto your arm but doesn't make it uncomfortable. The keyholder is really nice for walking/running outside of a house/apartment. It's VERY easy to insert and take out your zune. It's very easy to access and control your zune while it is in it.

The other perk that I just experienced yesterday was that it is very water resistant. I went on a morning run and it rained on me for about half an hour -- I was completely soaked head to toe but my zune was essentially as dry as it was before the run.

Great product, highly recommend, Good Value

I bought both armbands for the Zune 80 GB and the 8 GB model. It works and although many other, it fits my arm without problems. The only complaint I have is that the Velcro near the end where you pull to remove it, just ripped apart after just a few days of use. I'm trying to look for a good glue to use to avoid this to happen again. In general, the Zune works perfect with this, it protect it from your sweat and is comfortable to use.

For a man, unless you have tiny arms, this armband is a bit small. Otherwise, it's adequate...but I did have to return it due to the uncomfortable size. I bought it for my boyfriend and it was too small for him (he has about normally-sized "man" arms).

After 4-5 uses, the metal piece that loops the neoprene band back on itself broke in two, sending a piece of metal at high velocity across the gym. This armband would probably be fine for jogging and smaller people, however, if you workout regularly, and have any mass at all, skip this one and opt for something a little more sturdy, or a belt clipping model. This will not work for you.
