This review is from: POWERLINE AV+ STARTER KIT (Electronics)
This thing sets up easy and works like a champ! I had read about this sort of hardwired home networking in PC World magazine, and couldn't believe it could be so easy. I was thinking about hard wiring the house with Ethernet cable and was dreading it. It meant drilling holes in walls and floors, crawling around in crawlspaces and getting dirty. This was simple and completed in about 2 minutes after I opened the box and finished reading the instructions.

My whole need for hardwired networking was based on streaming movies from my Netflix account to my HD TV. I have a wireless network, but I felt I needed a hardwired network for the best picture images. My whole setup was a). a Netflix account, using the streaming 'Watch Instantly' queue; b). a Roku box which allows a connection from your PC to the TV; b). the Powerline networking system to connect the two together. It all worked great. I didn't expect it to work as well as it did, but its great.
