It looks terrible, and I know that looks aren't everything, but if the performance is bad and the look is bad then the product has no redeeming qualities.
Andrew Ellington
It took a number of tries to adjust the band to get the right fit... somewhere between "don't move the arm or it will fall off" and "is this a blood pressure cuff?"
Thomas Duff
I am a male triathlete, so I have relatively thin arms, but I am pretty sure that anyone that has a runner's physique will find this armband to be too big.

I like this armband. It is adjustable enough to move from forearm use (when bicycling) to the upper arm for walking. I prefer the feature of the clip that snaps over to snug the armband vs hook-and-loop type fasteners. You are still able to adjust the "belt" slightly after it is clipped in the closed position, for fine tuning. The flap that folds over the opening on the back, where you insert the phone, helps to secure the phone in position. For the headphone jack, since I have a right-angled connector, I preferred to feed it into the case and connect to the phone vs trying to connect to the phone through the opening. I did not have any trouble operating the phone through the clear plastic cover the screen. The material is thin with a little give for comfort. I did not find it to hold a lot of sweat like the thicker lycra options I have used. I was also able to use it with an original iPod (feeding the cord inside).

This is a decent armband for those of you who use your iPhone during workouts. It keeps the phone snug and secure, as well as protected from drops and sweat. The phone is easy to slip and out of the band as needed. The only complaint I could really make is that you cannot have on another case on your iPhone when fitting it into this band. I have an elago slim case which is very slim, yet the phone wouldn't go into the armband until I took the case off.

I've never used an armband before, so I can't render a judgement on how this item compares to others like it. I used this armband while walking my dog to see how it performed in that situation.

My first impression was that the armband was quite large and bulky, but after thinking about it, I don't see any way that they could reduce its size, so it's probably the size that it needs to be. Sliding an iPhone 5 into place is quite snug, and I found it easier to remove the case I was using than to wrestle with the plastic sleeve.

It took some time to adjust the clip just right, but after it is adjusted, the clip makes it easy to use and remove the armband. I did find that it tended to slip, even when walking, so I can understand the issues reported by others while running. I think this has to be a matter of finding a balance between having it loose enough so it doesn't feel like a blood pressure band while still holding its place.

Using the phone's touchscreen was pretty easy, even if the home button was partially obscured by the top portion of the band surround. This might just be a matter of shoving the phone further into the sleeve, but given the tightness of that sleeve, I think people will run into that issue more often than not.

Comfort was OK for what it was. I don't think you can get away from feeling at least a little like you have a blood pressure band on, but that may go away with time.

One aspect that I thought could be improved was in the flap that covered the phone after it is inserted. The flap completely covers the phone, which is probably good from a rain protection standpoint, it makes the flap stand up completely if you are using earbuds without a right-angle connector (such as the ones included with the iPhone 5).

Overall I like the design. I'd like to see stiffeners in the pocket so you can easily remove/install the iPhone when the armband is on my arm. I love the latch. It's a great way to tighten the band. Unfortunately it's just not long enough for anyone with 15"-16" arms or larger

Cons:
- Not enough length for large arms
- I have the thinnest possible case on my iPhone 5. I have another armband that I can easily use with it but this one requires the case be removed to insert the phone. And I still have difficulty inserting and removing even without the case. I understand you don't want the iPhone flying out but that can be solved with the flap. It's basically too tight
- It needs a more secure flap at the top of the pocket

Pros:
- They have a latch that tightens and loosens the band. This is a VERY nice design...if the band was just a little larger. But I want to stress I love the design of the latch.
- I did not have an issue with it sliding down

I normally love Belkin items but this must have been designed by an intern. It's like they never actually used it

Male, 5'10" and pretty muscular. Arm circumference (not flexed is 15").
This fits perfectly, looks great on my very dark chocolate skin (I'm black). The ONLY issue I have, which justifies the star off, is that the earphone hole is at the bottom. Because I need to check my phone while running, change playlist, etc... I have to introduce the phone in the armband from top to bottom (reverse of what's shown in the picture. As a consequence, the earphone hole is of no use to me.
The previous armband I have from Reebok (boose) understood this problem and the hole was at the top instead.
After using it for about 10 workouts, I am yet to wash it for the first time. I will let you know how I washed it and what happened.
