I've always had good results with the Belkin name so when I decided to upgrade to HDMI I went with them. The prices are better then what you will find in a brick and mortar store but there are cheaper.
The cable is well made and high quality. I had no problem with picture quality or connection issues when setting everything up and like the feel of the cables. I had a lot of components to hookup so next purchase I decided to try out a cheaper cable that had good reviews. I ended up getting a few of these, Cables To Go - 40315 - 2M (6.5ft) Velocity HDMI Digital Video Cable (Blue), and was not disappointed. They are flimsier than the Belkins but are still a good quality cable. If you'll never touch the cables again after hooking everything else up go with the Velocity but if you plan to mess with the cables on a regular basis the Belkin might be a better idea for you.

I have now purchased multiple cables from the Belkin PureAV line and I am very impressed with the quality of cable. These cables are much better than the below $10 ones in quality but are much cheaper then the ones from Monster and other "Premium" companies. All of the manufacturers make their components in China now, and are only Engineered and Designed in the US. If you are looking for quality AV accessories look at the PureAV stuff from Belkin, they are a great value.

Cable works great. Cable is firm so you need a little extra space behind your components.

I just bought a new high end receiver and flat TV (120 & 1080) and was concerned about cable quality. I read that the $100 dollar cables are not necessary. They were right. From the PS3 to the WII to TV and DVD's everything looks perfect.
Don't be a sucker and buy a more expensive cable.

Can't say much else about this. It works well with my new upconvert dvd player and my hdtv. Seems well constructed. I almost bought one of those cheaper $2.00 ones, until I noticed even the good reviews mentioned that they seemed flimsy and often caused sound problems.

I bought several of these 3' Belkin HDMI patch cables and they all work flawlessly.
I wondered if there was anything to be said for the $200.00 HDMI cables at the big box stores, so I also bought one of those and compared them. Absolutely no difference in quality. So go with the belkin.

this cable worked very well and eliminated all those patch cords and was about 75% less than Monter cable, when I buy a sound system I will purchase the same problem without a doubt

This cable has 3 good things going for it:
-1- Low price - you can do a couple $$ better but, then you don't get -2- -2- A name, as in a 'brand' name -3- Good (short) length - at 3 ft., if you don't need something longer, it's less of a mess and a guaranteed error-free signal [Anyone remembers the old "I am not going to spend a lot for this muffler" commercial?] Just in case someone may feel guilty for not paying a lot more for, basically the same thing, let's look at one of our top of the line offers in premium HDMI, Monster HDMI 1000HD Ultra-High Speed HDMI Cable (2 meters) and do a quick comparison. For a lot less, Belkin's supports the HDMI 1.3a/b standard. Any HDMI 1.3 cable can carry up to 10.2 Gbit/s. Hmmm... I suppose the Monster is much better, right? Well... it "guarantees a certified cable bandwidth of 10.2" Okay, but the Monster also supports "x.v.Color, and Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD". It turns out that, all of the above, and more, are part of the HDMI 1.3 specs and they are fully supported by every cable that complies to the standard and can be had for about 95% less in the Premium Gold. The expensive brand presentation simply enumerates the HDMI 1.3 specs as if it being HDMI 1.3 compliant was a really big deal. It is not a big deal. Even a cable that costs 95% less is HDMI 1.3 compliant. My suggestion: if you think that the proponents of the expensive brand have a point when they claim that their product is a lot more durable, buy TWO Belkin wires or three and you still pay a fraction of what you would pay for one of the expensive ones. My personal experience: I've never paid 'a lot' for an HDMI cable because it makes no sense to pay more. I took home one of the 'expensive' ones once because the salesman promised to take it back if I wasn't amazed by the difference. It made zero difference and I returned it. ________________________________________ The following are the HDMI 1.3 specs and any certified HDMI 1.3 cable is going to support them. If all you need is a short cord (I used it to connect my Apple TV to my AV system) this is a good buy. Even with the shipping, it came to less than half of what I would have paid for a lesser quality cord in the big stores. Go for it! It's a Belkin after all!

It's not too long but I wanted to avoid a looping cable in this case. All HDMI cables at home are Belkin.
