I did I lot of research before I bought a case for my new ipod classic (80GB), and this got the best reviews overall. It's inexpensive, slim, styled to fit the 80GB, and COVERS THE SCREEN. It also covers the wheel with plastic, but it does not affect the controls at all. The case was easy to snap together and is very sturdy, not to mention attractive. I'm extremely happy with it!

I really like this case, because it is hard plastic and covers the click wheel without making me feel like I can't use the click wheel. The only down side is that it gets scratched pretty easily, so there are lots of scratches on the back.

The moment my ipod slipped out of my hand the case popped off. It protects your ipod as long as you don't drop it but the case back smudges and scratches pretty easily. It looks kind of cheap, especially around the touch cirlce where there are little white gradiant dots- not cute. I'd recommend looking for something else to protect your ipod, I just got this 2 weeks ago and I'm looking for a new case already.

The back is clear, so the chrome of your IPod as well as it's engraving and logo show through. The silver front of the case has some reflective metallic details that complement the existing chrome back, such that the design is congruent and attractive. The cover easily snaps on to protect your IPod from scratches. The on/off button and jacks are not obstructed by this case.

Feels very sturdy and should protect your ipod pretty good. My issue was that it didn't fit my Ipod 5.5 generation. It came w/ two back cases one bigger than the other but neither of 'em fit my ipod. very disappointing since I have to return it and pay shipping again... not worth $[...] i paid for it. BEWARE IPOD 5.5 GENERATION OWNERS!!

This is an excellent case that protects the entire surface of your iPod classic. I highly recommend this case. It also looks very nice as a protective cover.

This product fully satisfied my need for a protective case that was both stylish and capable of being left on when my iPod classic was charging. This product works perfectly with my iPod Classic 7th generation.I did a lot of research before purchasing this case, and I am completely satisfied. I have also dropped my phone twice, since I received this product, and there was not even a scratch. :)

This is one of my favorite iPod cases. The two sides of the case fit together both well and easily. This case covers both the screen and the click wheel, keeping a lot of dust and debris out and off of the iPod.

The material covering the click wheel can sometimes be somewhat insensitive but I'll gladly take having to run my finger around it a few more times in exchange for it being covered.

If you're not careful, the clear plastic covering the iPod screen can get little scratches on it, but then, it's not your iPod itself getting scratched.

With the case on, the hold button, headphone jack, and dock connector are still easily accessible. The case fits the iPod snugly so your iPod won't move around inside it. It's also easy to remove without even the hint of possibly damaging the device.

(The front of this case will also fit with either of the backs from the Belkin Remix case for 80/160 GB iPods--if, like me, you have that as well.)

The biggest problem I had with this skin was that the plastic cover over the click wheel was HORRIBLE. It was so insensitive! Sometimes when it wouldn't work, I would just get frustrated and open the case to go to where I want. It got so bad that I actually had to use an exact-o knife to cut off the plastic, giving me direct touch to my click wheel.

Overall though, it's a very durable case. I've had mine for about 4 years now and it just recently got a little problematic with the scratches on the cover screen and the silver plating coming off of the case. But for 4 years of service, it worked out pretty well. (Once you knife-out the plastic clickwheel case, that is.)
