There's not much to say about this... It's a thin, plastic screen protector. Once you put it on, the only time you'll notice it is looking at the Home button on the bottom, because there's a notch there for it.
Important things to remember: 1. CLEAN THE SCREEN - Wipe down the screen with the included cloth, and make 100% certain that there are NO dust particles on it before you begin applying the protector. Dust particles will create annoying air bubbles, and trying to remove them from the adhesive side of the protector basically ruins it. Make sure your general area is also free of dust before you remove the plastic from the adhesive side of the protector. 2. SAVE THE CARD - There's a small cardboard card in the box. This is meant to help even out and smooth out the protector once it's on the device. Don't throw it out - save it! If you do mistakenly throw it away, though, you could probably safely use something like a credit card. 3. DON'T REMOVE THE PLASTIC FILM ON THE FRONT UNTIL YOU'RE DONE SMOOTHING IT - There's a plastic film on the front of the screen protector, and it's there for a reason. Once you have used the card to eliminate non-dust-related air bubbles, you'll see why. The plastic film is usually pretty well scratched. Better the film than your new screen protector. That's all there is to it - Follow the instructions and keep the above things in mind, and you've got a protected screen.

This is a screen protector which sticks directly onto the front of the iPod Touch, with a small gap at the bottom so as to not cover the button located there. It's easy to apply, but make sure you carefully remove all dust particles from the screen before attaching the protector since those particles can cause air bubbles to form. There is an included cloth for cleaning the screen.
The only reason for giving this product four instead of five stars is the price. It is a bit pricey, but if you feel that you want to protect your screen from scratches and oily fingerprints, then you'll need to get a protector like this.

It's a little tricky at first to get the screen protector smoothly on the iPod, but once you get it on you can hardly notice it there. It's also easy to clean as well to get all of those annoying fingerprints and dust particles off the screen with a damp cloth.

This is a great screen protector that uses no glue to attach to the iPod Touch. The overly is a vinyl cling type of material. As long as you give yourself a little time and follow the directions, you should end up with great results. (Lock yourself in the bathroom away from pets and kids.)
The clear plastic comes with a piece of clear film on both sides. Each side has a little piece of tape to make it easier to remove the film. Basically wipe off the Touch screen with the included cloth. Pull the film away from the edge of the bottom side of the overly and line this up on the Touch's screen. Slowly pull the film off as you are applying the overly to the screen. Once the overly is on the screen, you simply pull the film off the top of the overly and you are done! I had my overlay installed in less than 5 minutes with beautiful results. I will definitely be purchasing these again should we need them. As a diehard Palm PDA user (as was my husband), this screen overlay was by far the easiest I've ever had to put on.

I got this item for a friend of mine, who happens to have an iPod Touch 3rd Gen.
Although the package states "For 2G", it obviously works for 3G (since they share the same physical dimensions). Overall, the screen protector is great, as it fits perfectly and is very easy to install with the very well known double peel method (first apply sticker, second remove bubbles, third remove the last layer). His older screen protector was of terrible quality, hence he had a lot of bubbles on the screen. This one, seems like it's gonna last for a while (but he has 2 spares just in case!) and doesn't interrupt at all the hand contact (you know, being a capacitive screen).

There are 2 tabs on the bottom of the overlay that are used to help you apply the screen. Once you have carefully applied the screen, you are to remove the tabs. The tab #2 was difficult to remove causing me to pull up on the screen, creating more bubbles. Once I got it off, there was a sticky residue that remained. The first overlay had so much residue that we threw it away. The second one had quite a bit but we gave up and decided that it was better than nothing. This was embarrassing since it was a gift... I won't buy this product again.

Its easy to apply and doesnt affect the color and motion too much.
But the protector has a U shape for the home button which is not specified in the image. Also it is slightly smaller than the screen, so if you dont have a case, you can see it. i wouldnt spend 5 dollar on this.

Bought these based on other reviews. Found them hard to install and the tabs that are glued on the protective screen leave glue that has to be removed. This scratches the protective screen. Tried all 3 and had the same results. Would look for another product.

Many reviewers say they have a lot of difficulty applying the overlays and/or getting them to look good without having air bubbles. Because of the reviews, I was careful to clean the iPod Touch 3G screen and to position the overlay according to directions. It went on easily and perfectly the first time. No bubbles and a good fit. The only way you would know the screen has an overlay is the small cutout for the button on the front of the iPod. After using the overlay for about two weeks, I can recommend it without reservation.

Seems to do the job,

This is the only screen protector I've ever used, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it seems to do the job. Don't know if you really NEED it, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. The only thing is that I had trouble applying it with no bubbles, but even with a few small bubbles it works fine.
