The overlay does what it says--it clings to your Ipod Touch and protects the screen from scratches/wear and tear, and it isn't an impediment to the device's touch sensitivity. However, the picture included in the item description has something of an optical illusion. Looking at the picture, you'll notice it seems that the overlay will cover the entire front of your Touch. However, the overlay is large enough only to *barely* cover the screen itself, not the rest of the face. In fact, the cut is so small that it leaves a tiny perimeter of screen uncovered--and try positioning it correctly! Make sure you check the dimensions of any overlay before you buy it. If you're mostly concerned about covering the screen itself, but not the rest of the Touch's face, then this is a product that should work out for you.

This screen overlay is very transparent and does not seem to hinder the touch-screen at all. The only problem I see is that it is just a little shy of completely covering the screen (on the order of a millimeter too short), and I would have liked for it go all the way to the edges of the Touch, beyond the physical screen, and around the button at the bottom. But, this screen does a great job of protecting the touch-screen portion of the iPod Touch.

Don't buy this overlay....it is not the full size of the Ipod Touch and therefor does not protect the entire surface area of the touch screen.

The original overlay that came with the ipod touch had started to curl so i purchased this one. I was unhappy with it because it doesn't cover the entire area like the original one. Also, for some reason the original overlay does not show as much fingerprints as this one. Overall, i would not get another one.

I bought this item as a "top up" to get free shipping. It wasn't worth it and was only a fraction of the screen size. It was my first return to Amazon - which went well.

This only covers part of the screen, and does not fit perfectly. It is clear, but very hard not to leave your fingerprint on it.

It really is a nice product. Note, I am not good at installing things like this. But I did manage to get it on OK The product works as advertised. no problems

The touch screen overlay for the IPOD Touch simply does its job. No more or no less.

Good product. Upon following the instructions on installing the screen saver, I encounter problems. Maybe it was just me, but I had to put on another. Insturctions were unclear. However, I am not an expert in these things.
