The Belkin Silicone Sleeve is a simple solution to carrying your iPod 3G Nano on your arm. A silicone 'pocket' that snugly fits over your iPod with an elastic band that threads through the slots in the back of the sleeve works very well. However, the product description states: "the sleeve provides protection from shock, scratches, and scuffs". Based on this description I expect some kind of plastic shield that would fit over actual screen. There is none so damage can still occur to this part of your iPod. Further the silicone covers the control 'wheel' and, while I suppose it's not necessary to see the controls, obscures the wheel from sight. But for the price, it's sufficient until I find something I like better.

This was a great buy: The arm band is comfortable and fits any size very well. The cover is made of thin rubber and is very convenient and flexible so I just leave it on all the time. I would recommend this product to anyone who walks/runs/works out with their iPod like I do.

This is a good, thin silicone case with a cutout for the screen. I didn't need the case to protect the screen since I already have a stick-on screen protector there. The thinness of the case means occasionally the iPod wants to start to slip out near the top, but this isn't really a problem too often. There is a full opening at the bottom for access to the dock connector, button lock-out switch and headphone jack.

The armband is an improved version of Velcro loop material for its entire length, with the hook material at the end, making it completely adjustable. It's also very comfortable.

The only reason I took away a star was because of the part of the case that covers the scroll wheel. It seems a little thinner than the rest of the case, but it's still occasionally difficult to control the wheel. I would like this case better if it had a scroll wheel cutout similar to the one for the screen.

I work out every day, and use my ipod nano almost every time. It has been over a year now, and I have not had any problems with the armband. One thing to consider, however, is that you may want to replace the soft ipod case from time to time, as it eventually wears out and loses some traction on the ipod. I have replaced mine once. Otherwise, it is an excellent product. The band is comfortable and easy to use.

I purchased this armband for the purpose of the gym. It is inexpensive and pretty useful. The silicone sleeve is a little flimsy and the wheel is covered by the sleeve, but selecting music isn't difficult though. It stays secure on the arm and is pretty water resistant (about a 1.5 hour workout).

Bought this item for my workouts at the gym. I am a big guy with 19inch arms. Most arm bands simply don't fit without cutting the blood supply off. My wife's $30 arm band doesn't fit at all. And its "one size fits all" is just a gimmick.
Its true that that there isn't a cover for the face plate, but what the heck are you doing with it-sand blasting. Its nicely made and worth the price. If you are an individual that is concerned about the faceplate scratching, there are "films" that you can purchase for less than a dollar.
Sometimes the "wheel" feature is a little touchy when using it through the rubber pad, but it is a very minor problem when you consider the price.

It is good for this price to buy it. Their shipping was fast. I can not find an other one under 10 dollors as good as this.

I am glad that I got this. I mainly got this to use it at the gym, but I am finding out other uses (ex: Painting, Drawing, House cleaning- mopping, vacuuming, and doing dishes LOL). Pretty comfortable to wear, good price and quick shipping.

This was a nice priced item but it has flaws. The first flaw is there is no cover over the screen so it will be scratched if not careful. The wheel to move the songs is covered and becomes difficult to navigate your songs I had to cut the silicon out to move the wheel. The arm band does not fit snug around the arm and tends to slip. I would recommend to spend the extra money to get one that covers these flaws.

Over all the ipod case works well, and its nice that you can take it off the band with out taking the whole thing apart. Also the Band itself works well. The only really down side is that there is NO cover for the screen! Why would they make a sports band that doesnt protect the screen from dirt and scratches? SO now I have to find the clear protectors and buy another item. My advice would be to buy a sports band that already has a protective screen cover on it..
