Belkin Sports Jacket Case with Armband for Zune 30 GB (Black)

I ordered this case without expecting much, seeing as i haven't cared for sylicone cases much before. The case does leave availability to all ports and buttons, however, for full protection you will need to invest in some screen covers too. This case leaves the screen wide open for injury. Also, if you plan on doing anything physical with this case, be careful. The armband slips right into the sylicone jacket making this a not very sturdy hold. If you will be moving around a lot, (like jogging) this case will allow your player to flop around quite a bit. All and all it is a decent case to store your zune in for minor bangs and scrapes and scratches... But that is pretty much all it is for.

This is an attractive, basic black protective silicone jacket for the Zune player, with a few flaws:

1. It's probably the nature of the material, but it seems to hold a small static charge that attracts EVERYTHING to it--dust, pocket fuzz, etc. It's annoying to have to keep washing it or picking off the detritus.

2. It offers no protection for the screen; however, Belkin *conveniently* offers a separate adhesive protector, which I bought before realizing that Amazon sells a few competitor products (one, by iPodZoo is quite a bit cheaper) that provide all-over protection. Personally, I like the idea of slip-on protection for my screen, rather than an adhesive-back solution (though it's too late for me at this point).

3. It adds bulk to the already-hefty Zune and makes access to the buttons more difficult, particularly if you don't have small fingers. Not a deal-breaker, as I'm not sure it can be helped, but certainly a consideration.

All in all, if I had it to do over again, I would have explored the competitor product first and only opted for the Belkin case as a second resort.

Just received the cover/jacket by UPS and put it on. I've had silicon cases/covers in the past (for my Creative Zen) and it was a pain in the rear-end to put on. But for your Zune it is very simple to slip on though the front of the cover- and it fits snug. The design was, obviously, well thought out and all ports and buttons are just as accessible as without the case. It did come with an armband, but I don't plan on jogging with it (hard drive player= more moving parts= fragile!).

***It's only a black case. But don't get me wrong, its design protects well. And with all of you with special fabric on the seat of your car (fabric and plastic create a slippery surface when G-force is applied to your player), this case helps prevent your Zune from those horrible incidents of when you take a sharp turn and the player slides across the seat and bangs into the side of your door- or falls to the floor. Just the product I need.

It's great! The only problem is that the radio adapter can't be attached to the bottom with it on.

I was excited to get my new Zune but was always a nervous wreck carrying it around for fear of it slipping out of my hands or scracthing it up. THe Belkin Sports Jacket silicone case is the perfect protection at a reasonable price. The silicone case provides just enough shock absorption for your everyday dings. It also has a good amount of tack so the Zune is not going to slip out of your hand when jogging or fumbling with your keys. When I'm walking around with the Zune in my pocket I find the case's beveled cutouts for the buttons actually make it easier to find the play/pause and >> buttons through the fabric of my pants pocket. So I don't have to keep pulling it out when someone calls and such.

I have tried several armband style cases for my Zune and after buying three different ones....I found the one that best suits my needs. The Belkin Sports Jacket does not have a face cover and allows The Zune to be slipped into it and the silicone wraps around the Zune once inserted and holds it. The arm band is also something I really like about the Belkin Sports Jacket. It is a single uninterrupted piece so setting it to the perfect tightness is to your choosing. Being a runner, its importance that the case isn't flopping around which many other cases I tried were culprit off.

This silicone sports jacket is a little clingy to fabrics but works well to hold the Zune in place and to protect it from minor bumps and scrapes.

This is a great product. Keeps the Zune secure while running and lifting. Only draw-back is that it collects lint and dust but cleans easily. I'd buy it again.

I gave this as a gift and she is very happy with it. She uses it to exercise with. Hands free works great. Does what she wanted it for.

works perfect for big or small arms. holds the zune tightly, good access to buttons, easy to remove the zune when done. easy to clean! 100% would buy it again.
