the Belkin G adapter with MIMO is a powerful client card for locations with interference issues and signal strength. I used this adapter with the complementary Belkin Pre-N MIMO router for full feature compliance (MAC address filtering, 128bit WEP or PSK, and 54MBPS throughput). All was great, wiwth the exception of the client sofware utility and Windoz XP. After 4 hours, I caved anc called Tech support. The issue was with MS "approved" software conflicts, Dell's implementation of the network (port aggregator) and XP fighting with the Belkin client over turf.....surprise, surprise.... Once identified, sha-zam! I have "excellent" signal clear on the otherside of my house...even oout side! Great card and value!

I got this Belkin wireless card at a very low price and works well in my Sony VAIO laptop.

Flawless installation on a new Airport Extreme network with mimo. Fast and reliable in a Dell notebook. Super admin software. Constant 54 mps G system.

I picked up an old Dell Latitude for next to nothing to use as an emergency computer to access the internet if my main computer fails. It did not have wireless built in, so I thought this product would be the cheapest way to fix that. Shipping was quite fast. I followed the directions that came with it, and within 10 minutes I was on-line. It was almost too easy! The range is much better than my son's wireless laptop, and the speed is better too. I did opt to use Windows configuration over the one that comes with this unit because this old computer is so slow, it took too long to connect. I can't imagine a better wireless adapter for anywhere near this price.

This works perfectly for older laptops (mine is a Toshiba). I use it mainly for Netflix and Slingbox in spare bedroom/den. Very easy to use. Worth every penny

After attempting to use my built in laptop wireless adapter, and found that I could not get and maintain a strong enough wireless signal, I decided to purchase this Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO Notebook Card - Network adapter - CardBus - 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11g+. This product works very well with my Belkin G with MIMO wireless router and is much faster and reliable than the wireless adapter that came installed in my laptop computer. The location in my house where I use my laptop computer is a good distance away from the wireless router. I am, and plan to remain, a customer of Amazon. From my point of view, Amazon is the best vendor on the internet.

It is cheap and it works. If you have XP with SP3 you don't need the CD : plug it it and it'll work. Reception is not the best but it stays connected even with a low signal.
Side note : The seller I got it from sent me a refurbished item labelled as new.

Used on an older HP laptop with no wireless. Ran the software,
plugged the card in, on line..... How easy is that? Plus the
price was ridiculous.

Installed and connected to my network in no time, no problems at all and has better reception than my previous adapter (Netgear)

I purchased this adapter to replace a linksys that was purchased in 2006. I went back to the linksys. This adapter was exactly like my other adapter - it wasn't any faster or slower, did not show any more or less networks - it was equivalent. I was very disappointment in the hype it received only to go back to a device that is 5 years its senior.
