If you need a biking helmet with a face guard, this one will fill the bill. It will protect your mouth in a crash.

Don't believe "tiny helmeters" who say full face is going to be too hot. That's a myth for people who don't know (and I live in Florida where it's ALWAYS hot) It's going to be a bit heavier than a "regular helmet" but much more protection than those silly little things people are wearing at the tour de france.(and on the regular roads everywhere else) Of course it's bigger and if that's what you want, GET IT!

Well, its alot cooler to have it in person than on the picture. When people see this helmet they go, OMG! very cool! must buy!

Fantastic hemet...I ride,race dh in NC so it gets put though it. Its super light(big plus) and comfy, inside washes easy and its rad(just look at the design).Though its not as polished as say a TLD helmet its alot cheaper,and does the job..There are a couple of cons though. I would venture to say that if you sneezed at it the paint would come off(i realized this after i pulled it outta the box and sent it to get a shot of clear coat immediately and havent had a BAD scratch yet. Second it could probably be a bit cooler. Though it is a fullface Ive had cooler helmets (TLD) on my noggin. Ive ridden with this helmet for over a year and except for the cons, I love it and will grab another as soon as I screw up, take a header and crack it. Btw its still comfortable with a leatt comp 2 brace..

I tried on 4 different full faces before deciding on this one. The Giro Remedy, Troy Lee, Bellistic. None of them fit to the shape of my head as well as the Bell Drop. Note: a good fit is when you can't nod or shake your head (like you're saying no) when your head is in the helmet. My fit was so good that I couldn't do either, and also, I have to tip the helmet in order to drink from my camelbak.

Pro's:
- ASTM 1952 downhill biking certified
- Comfortable cushioning and pads
- Removable Washable liner

Con's:
- Be sure to mount your visor according to instructions (with the washers in the proper places), otherwise your visor will just fall right off.
- Ugly bell logo
- Limited designs; most of them are either too manly (Zombies), or too loud (the CG white / green one was nice but I don't need CG everywhere across my helmet). Please better designs! Check out Giro Remedy's smog for ideas.
- I chose the white color but the rubber lining turned grey in a matter of 2 uses.... I guess they shouldn't use white as the main helmet color.
- My old full face from 5 yrs ago has 6 more vents than this one.

The helmet is great, however, the visor was damaged with the paint all coming off of it, so I was quite disappointed. Amazon didn't have any more to replace it with, so I ended up having to buy a new visor from a different dealer.
