Excellent Helmet!!!! Great Ventilation!!! Light!!! Superb Fit!!! I have tried numerous helmets and this is the best so far - comparable to Giro's top helmets. It is also cheaper. Best of all is that it has a removable visor which allows the helmet to switch between off-road and on-road use. IT IS A GREAT HELMET FOR THE PRICE ON AMAZON.COM (and free shipping!)

The main thing I wanted to know about these helmets was how thick are the pads. Well they are pretty thick and I DO NOT like thin pads.

There are great helmets, there are so-so helmets, and there are total crap helmets. This one is in the great-awesome category! I mostly do road cycling, with a bit of mtn. biking when I can get a break from the city. I'll keep it simple: It's light, tons of vents, fits my head well (although the front pad feels to be a little snug)and the design is super sweet! I got this from Amazon almost 40% off, so it a was awesome deal. Just get one, you'll be super cool (literally)

The volt is a solid helmet with abundant venting. Helmet adjustments are a snap when going from summer to fall (if you wear a head warmer). The down side to the helmets are two fold. As compared to other road bike helmet manufacturers, the Volt is a little heavy. Additionally, padding is sparse on this helmet and, depending on your head shape, you may find a contact point on the crown of your head that doesn't include any padding. Otherwise, this is a well ventilated helmet with many adjustments to fit most any head size.

Fits great and has tons of vents so you get lots of cooling, which is crucial here in Texas. I got white to further help with cooling and it also looks really good (as much as a helmet can). The price was great - I think it's just as good as the Giro Ionos for much less money.

This is the best helmet for the money, hands down. Previously i had a bell sweep, which was nice but after a few seasons and multiple changes to the pads inside i decided to upgrade. the volt is super light, very easy to adjust, and the ventilation is superior to other helmets i have tried.
Note that bell and giro are owned by the same company, so they have analogous product lines, but they do fit a bit differently. i would recommend trying them both on or sticking with the brand you currently have(assuming it fits well)

A little pricey for a bike helmet, but out of all the helmets I have owned in the past, the Volt is the best so far. Works well for both the road and mountain.

This is the most comfortable helmet that I have ever worn. It is easy to forget that you have it on.

I got this helmet because I have owned Bell in the past and found they fit my head very well.
For the most part I am happy with the helmet. The only thing I have to complain about is the weight! This is suppose to be the best one they have but it is just as heavy as the cheaper Bells. It vents very well and I like that but if your looking for a light weight Helamet move on. Im looking onto lighter ones for my next purchace.
I would recomend this Helmet for the venting and a all around good unitand comfort. However I am looking for a little lighter one and more race ready.

This is one of those items you hope you never really have to 'use.' Bearing that in mind, I have to say it's as elegant and well-designed as any helmet I've ever owned or tried on from a form and aesthetic perspective. If helmet foam didn't degrade over time, I'd buy a couple more to hold me over into the 2020's!
