5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the price, May 22, 2009

This review is from: Bell Alibi Youth Bike Helmet (Sports)
This is the brand of bike helmets we purchase for every member of our family. The model here is great. It fits so neatly that my daughter can hang upside down without the chin strap buckled and the helmet won't fall off (we tried this just for fun to see if it would work.) The helmet stays in place during any activity or a crash. It's comfortable, reasonably cool with the vents, and has very good safety ratings.

5.0 out of 5 stars My head is in one piece thanks to this helmet, September 16, 2011
This review is from: Bell Alibi Youth Bike Helmet (Sports)
This is a "youth" helmet but happens to fit me better than the adult models.

I love the fit and the style (mine is a black with red flames).

I recently had a hard impact with the concrete pavement while wearing this helmet. I had scraped hands and knees, walked into a nearby pharmacy and bought some bandages. This helmet took a hard impact and did its job. I shrugged off the experience and continued with my day.

I took a corner too fast, didn't react with brakes in time, and wound up testing whether bike helmets really work. I can report they most certainly do.

The Alibi and similar other helmets is extremely comfortable to wear when properly adjusted. It has many vents, 23 I believe, and has a very useful visor.

When you shop for helmets, it is very important to look at its ventilation system. This helmet was the perfect number of vents. Less expensive models have fewer vents and will overheat you. I have worn other helmets over the years and this one fits me the best.

In summary: lots of vents to keep me cool, visor to help me see, perfect fit, attractive styling, and it has unfortunately been tested to perform extremely well in a crash. :)

Buy it.
