This pink FM radio, inspired by Barbie, easily attaches to the handlebar of any kids' bike and detaches if walking to the beat--instead of peddling to it--is preferable. Its features include an adjustable volume control, digital channel scanning, on/off dial, reset button, and one small speaker that's camouflaged as a flower. The sound is not stereo quality, of course, but it's more than adequate within 10 feet of the unit. Music can be distracting to a bike-riding kid, especially if she wants to change the channel, so grown-ups should go over safety precautions such as coming to a complete stop before making any adjustments. As well, because the radio is plastic and not waterproof, it's best to take it inside if the bike stays outside overnight. Two AAA batteries are required. --Diane Beall

The truth of the matter is that I haven't bought one Barbie item that hasn't been satisfactory. I bought this for a Six year old little girl to go along with her Barbie Bike. She likes the radio so much she keeps it in her bedroom and listens to it. Like so may little girls her age she is in the Barbie faze so we buy many Barbie items. This radio has good sound and the colors are great, very high quality for the price.

Radio does not get many stations, poor reception. Anntenea is flimsy too, can easily break.
