I would have to admit that so far, once you have heard one Magical Strings album, you pretty much know everything they are about. Luckily for them, the formula is an artistically and emotionally successful one: traditional and original tunes taken from all walks of music, run through gentle but lively arrangements for hammered dulcimer and harp, and assorted additional side-instrumentation. Pam and Philip Boulding, who *are* Magical Strings, should be congratulated for developing a popular music niche which is both musically nontrivial and aesthetically positive and pleasing--not that easy a task. "Bell Off the Ledge" continues that direction, and is well worth picking up.

An excellent musical experience.,

If you have any appreciation for stringed instruments, you should check this artist out. I personally enjoy a diverse selection of music (from Tool to Judas Priest, to Joe Satriani to Yanni, from SRV to Beethoven, to George Benson to Norah Jones), and this is one of the most refreshing works to listen to. Highly recommended.
