I ordered these pads for my daughter, and requested pink. I received black. When I contacted the company, they said that one cannot choose the color one gets - you just get what you get. They offered me a $5 discount to keep them. No thanks - they are NOT what I ordered, so why pay anything for them?!

So, my question is: If the customer cannot choose what color they are going to receive, then why bother putting both colors up? Who is going to order them if they have no idea what color they are going to get? Could I see my son in pink any more than my daughter would dare wear black? Not likely. So I sent them back, at my expense, insured as they required. They did promise a refund via my credit card 4-6 weeks after they receive the return. Hopefully they will make good on that promise.

This product is much smaller than i had anticipated and even worse was the seller who posted it at one price but charged double.

Buying a set of protective gear for a slim 3 year old girl over the Internet is a challenge, as most of the sets are made for kids 5 yo and older.
This set was exactly what we were looking for. This fits really nicely and tight.
A must have for young bike riders and razor scooter early adopters.

This is really unacceptable to try and order something and you get the wrong color and they could have either called, emailed, or simply have an option to choose the color. I ordered this item in hopes of thinking that I would receive some type of contact regarding a preference. This is suppose to be a Christmas gift and now my stepdaughter will have everything pink except for her pads, thanks for nothing!

The elbow/knee pads are not separate, but one set to be used on either knees or elbows. No helmet is involved.

What was displayed was not what was delivered -- very unclear as to which color is being sold. Thought it was a set of both pink and blue and received only black pads and black gloves -- unfortunately for my daughter.

no way to determine color until product arrives. needed pink for little girl got black of course.

picture shows gloves with the pads, none were in package. Kids love the pads, are well made and I beleive will hold up well.

Do not let these negative reviews fool you. I was not going to purchase this product because of all the negative reviews, however seeing as how this was the cheaper price for the black set that I needed for my two year old I took my chances. I ordered the product and two days later I received an email confirming which color product I wanted. I confirmed it was for a boy and that I wanted black. 3 business days later I received my package in the mail and I was pleased.

I can understand that every person has different shopping experiences but make sure you check your email so that they can confirm which product color you want. Also, please be assured although the product title includes a helmet you are not getting a helmet and in my opinion one should not expect a quality helmet to be included with this purchase at such a low price.

Also you have your choice of either pink/purple or blue/black. This is (1) elbow/knee pad set with gloves.

The product is a little big and my son will have to wear them over pants until he grows into them but I expected that because my son is ony two. I cannot wait to see him on his running bike wearing complete safety gear.

We purchased these(2 sets) for our grandsons, ages 3 and 5. They fit nicely and seem to be made pretty well.
