Recorded in Sutherland's absolute prime when she was the greatest coloratura soprano of our time, Sutherland was without peers. Hear her as the only true DRAMATIC coloratura of this century as she attack all the notes in this tape with complete certainty and perfection. You will love this recording. Very interesting were the Tosca scene with Gobbi. It was said that Gobbi tried to get Joan to sing Tosca!!! Imagine that. Bravissima!!!
