When I opened the box my first thought was "this has more parts than my first car had."

I unpacked the box and moved the pieces to the location I wanted to place it at. Moving the box whole is a two person job at least. Once assembled, the stand would take two people to move it. Be warned it is heavy (glass and metal tend to be that)and moving it once assembled would be tricky as the frame is hard to reach and the glass really isn't strong enough to take the full weight of the stand.

The stand went together in about an hour. All of the parts are clearly labeled and the screws provided fit the holes with only one exception. One of the holes that allows for adjusting the frame that holds the television was miscut and it shredded the threads of the bolt that should have fit in it. I'll hit the local hardware store for options to replace the bolt. The frame will work without this one bolt, but it was there for a reason.

The frame itself is well put together, the welds are very clean and neat, the glass shelves are well cut and each shelf clearly only fits in one location. This is a well engineered and manufactured piece.

Really four and a half stars. Minus a little for the miscut hole.

Update: I replaced the damaged bolt with an eye bolt from the hardware store. (the eye bolt allowed for better torque while screwing it in) The eye bolt also seems to have cleaned the miscuts because I can now screw and unscrew it fairly easily.

I ordered this stand online without looking at it. I had some reservations but I had found other Bell'O brand stands locally, just not this one. The box is around 150 lbs when it arrives. Keep a vacuum handy because styrofoam goes everywhere. The directions were easy to follow and the stand was very easy to put together. I mounted my TV on the arm connected to the stand. I wish it had one more set of holes to make my TV just a little lower, but the height is okay, closer than other stands I looked at. The red plastic package is the only one you need to open to put this stand together. The other package with silver mounting hardware is for the TV to attach to the brackets for on the wall or on the back arm of the stand. I found bolts that fit my TV after the first try, used a washer, then lock washer and my 65lb. TV is firmly attached to the Universal mount. The swivel function is great and with our heavy Plasma on it, it doesn't move at all once fixed in the position you want it. I thought the hardware looked small and cheesy from photos but in reality, it is really beefy steel throughout. Great stand, well worth the money and you have the option of wall mount, arm mount or set the TV on the stand itself. I also like the ability to put the stand in a corner or against a wall. I'm very happy with this high quality stand.

I am pleased with the with the looks and generally the quality of this TV stand. It was relatively easy to assemble. the hardest part was mounting the TV and its weight. I needed a second set of hands to hold the set while it was being secured to the mount. Two things that would have made this stand better would have been a more secure system for anchoring the glass shelves to the frame. the glass tends to just rest on the bumpers instead of being anchored more firmly. Secondly, our bed has a deep mattress so we are watching the tv in bed and I would have liked to be able to adjust the TV higher on the stand than the stand allows. I would buy this stand again.

I like it. sturdy. sleek. as advertised. It did have this huge advertising sticker on the bottom glass. Very hard to remove. It was missing one bolt so I lost about a hour of assembly time when I ran to home depot and picked up a replacement.

Looks great! Works great! Swivels great! Does everything it is supposed to. Took a while to put together but instructions were detailed and complete. I mounted a 60" Flat Screen on it and it handled it well. It really will handle a 60". I ususlly don't rate products (my mother told me if I don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all). I guess I just showed my age. NOTHING bad to say about this great product! You will love it!

This is an extremely sleek looking and well designed rack. It has a killer look and can fit in both a corner or a flat wall equally well. The lines are clean and the TV mount gives a real floating feel to the TV. The middle shelf height is not adjustable which is a bit of a negative. Also, the TV height is fixed, which is inconvenient and would be a good thing to make that height adjustable. Otherwise, great product and really enjoy it.

No problems and no complaints. It looks the way the picture displays it and very sturdy. I like the color and it goes very well with the decor in our family room.

I was impressed how well packed this was. It survived the trip from China to the US distributor to me with only a couple innocuous scratches. Quite acceptable, especially for the price.

The instructions were surprisingly clear and easy to follow. All you need is a Philips screwdriver and an alan wrench (or use the one provided). For mounting the TV, the manufacturer thoughtfully provided a variety of screws to try. My only complaint is that they could have labeled the screws rather than instructing you to "try them to see what fits". Also, they provided spacers for mounting the TV if needed. Unfortunately, these did not work for me, so it was off to the hardware store to buy a bunch of washers. given the variety of TVs they need to work with, I give the manufacturer an 'A' for effort for including what they did in the first place.

Once assembled, the unit is quite attractive. Black-backed glass shelves look quite sexy out of the box. A week of dust, of course, changes that completely, so I'll have to be especially vigilant with dusting.

The bottom and top shelves are adequately supported by the steel frame. What I don't like is the fact that they are held in place only by gravity. Fortunately, nothing slipped when mounting the AV equipment, and I suspect that I am just being paranoid.

The middle shelf, however, is held in place by four brackets on the back and sides. There is no support underneath and the glass bows in the center, even without a load. My lightest equipment went here. This is probably my most serious reservation about the unit and I'll keep an eye on it to see if it gets any worse, but for now, it is holding up.

I chose to mount the TV on the riser on this stand. The swivel mount is what attracted me to this unit in the first place. I have a 55 pound TV that pivots with the slightest touch. Amazingly, it does stay where you put it, so the TV doesn't move on its own. The installation was quite level - almost. There are leveling feet on the unit. I got the stand level, but for some reason, the TV was not perfectly level, but not visibly so. A perfectly acceptable installation in my opinion.

The "cable management" is rudimentary at best, but adequate. The riser allows for a few cables to pass through and that is fine for my installation.

The manufacturer made now pretenses about how few devices could be placed on the stand. I've got a receiver on the bottom shelf along with a Wii and a spot to place a camcorder for playback. On the middle shelf, I have the cable box on one side and a DVD-R and blu-ray player stacked on the other. This looks a little goofy, but it does the job. The open air design allows for adequate passive cooling at the expense of dust dust dust. On the top shelf, I have three speakers placed there because I did not want to wall mount anything. It's not acoustically ideal, but it does the job. I will say that I have over 14" of clearance between the shelf and the TV, so I was able to just squeeze them in. I had allowed for room to put acoustic isolation mounts on the speakers because I was concerned the glass would resonate, but, so far, this has not been necessary.

The riser allows for quite a bit of flexibility in how high you mount the TV. I think ours is mounted a bit too high for ideal viewing, but it was a compromise made in order to place the speakers on the top shelf.

Overall, I would recommend this unit, just be sure it can accommodate all your AV gear and that you don't mind regular dusting.

we've spent a lot of time selecting a TV stand and, after choosing this one, we're very happy. it's heavy and sturdy, and that's what we want. it looks really great and elegant, and I'd even say a bit high-end. the TV rotates really easily. it was easy to assemble, but then I always like to do these things.

When I received the stand from amazon the box was in good condition but when I opened it, the stand looked like someone had used and returned. The front top cross bar had two big paint chips and the back panel had scuff marks. I did not return the stand because I had already got rid of my old TV.
