From School Library Journal
PreSchool-K–Bella loves several things–her sweaters knitted by her grandmother, her play school, and, most fervently, the soft white rabbit that lives there. For Bella's birthday, Nonna makes her the best sweater of all–one that is soft, furry, and white, just like the rabbit she loves. One day, she leaves the sweater at school. It is missing when she goes to get it, and so is the rabbit. Like most things in the preschool world, this mystery is solved satisfactorily, and with only a little drama. The text is comforting and realistic without being overwhelming. Endle's illustrations depict nursery school as a great place, with smiling, helpful youngsters and a welcoming, interesting room. The textured paper in the collages adds to the depth of the art. Pastel colors also create comfort in a potentially unfamiliar situation. This cozy story will have wide appeal.–Susan E.
