My dauhgter recieved the Bella Dancerella Home Ballet Studio for Christmas. Not sure which was worse: the acting or the quality. But she loved it! So she asked Grandma for a Bella Tutu for her 5th birthday. The Toys R Us reviews were horrible! Complaints ranged from sizing & quality to value. We were afraid to buy it and be as disappointed as everyone else. But we did anyway. My daughter wears a 4t and it fits her rather snuggly. What a laugh we all had when she twilled around in it and it popped up like a upsided down umbralla might in high winds. It is very stiff, improperly sized, poor quality and workmanship, But she loved it! So to us it was worth every penny. The reviews were great in that we knew what to expect. We also called the company directly for a larger size and were told only one size is availble and that they too are aware of the complaints. They suggested we actually go to the store to see it as opposed to buying on line. I am glad we did. I held (3)up to compare & could see an odvious difference in all (3) tutu that were maked the same size. So Yes, Buyer beware but more importantly........ Be Informed.

My daughter loves her Bella Dancerella barre set she received for Christmas last year. She was THRILLED to receive the tutu and slippers yesterday. SHe was even thrilled to cram her 4-year old body(she's actually as big as most five year olds) into the leotard. She didn't care about the massive wedgie or the straps digging into her shoulders or the upside-down tutu. (Her grandfather kept telling us he thought she must have put it on upside down.) She was ready for the stage and spent a good portion of the afternoon performing in her costume. Sadly, I've told her I need to return it as it is TOO TOO small but am so disappointed that there is no larger size. Spin Master (the manufacturer) says "available in kids M-L." Oh well. Guess I need to hit the dance stores also.

NOTE: I contacted SPin Master. The tutus are being redesigned and they are going to send me a replacement once they are out this spring. I am VERY happy with their excellent costumer service and look forward to receiving a larger tutu! If you still have the box (for UPC code) or receipt, contact them!

My daughter got this for Christmas today. It says it's not for children under 3 years old so you would assume it would fit older children. She's 3 years old and wears between a 3 and 4, but this tutu was WAY to small on her and the slippers were to big. The tut is stiff and looks like it was put on upside down. Don't waste your money on this please! This is the worst quality dress up clothing I have bought, even worse than dollar store quality. My daughter really wanted a tutu and ballet slippers so I picked these up and really wish I would have just gone to a dance supply store instead!

Package says 3-8. Tutu inside says it is a 4-6. My daughter wears a size four or five and this is so small on her that she can not wear it. If you have a child that is a size three or smaller then this might work for you but any bigger forget about it!!

My 3-year old received this for Christmas and we were very disappointed. It was ill-fitting (too small, and the neckline was way too low) and the skirt stuck straight up. I contacted the manufacturer and mailed in the UPC symbol. Weeks later, they sent me the Fantasy tutu and slipper combo. Not only did it fit better and the skirt stayed down, but it was much more beautiful and the quality was better than the one we received at Christmas. Spinmaster more than made up for it and I was very pleased!

My daughter just loves the video and mat - so as a birthday present received the tutu and slippers. When you look at the tutu- it is just perfect; however, when my daughter puts it on the tuile stands straight up. We have washed it and it still does it. We have come to the conclusion that it is sewn wrong. I will have to take it off and resew it the other way. This was a huge disappointment for my 5 year old.
