This review is from: Bella DV Series Editing Key Board for Pinnacle Studio, with Built-in Jog / Shuttle Controller, USB Interface, Mac & Windows Hybrid. (Personal Computers)
The price for this keyboard is crazy. I don't like where they put the arrow keys for one and the cost is to much for the features. It sits in my closet now because it simply doesn't provide enough above a regular keyboard for me.

2.0 out of 5 stars Great idea, weak execution, March 19, 2009

I do a lot of video editing primarily using Sony Vegas Pro 8. Having a keyboard designed for video editing seemed just the perfect addition. The ability to add on a USB keyboard lite was also interesting for my often darkened video editing room. However, it just hasn't worked out. I've used it for almost two years now. I have three problems. First, the keyboard is attached to a port replicator for a powerful laptop. Every time the laptop is docked, I have to unplug the USB cable to the keyboard and plug it in again before it is recognized by Windows Vista. Annoying. I talked extensively with Bella's tech support about this problem, but they could never solve it. Second, the keyboard quality must be really cheap. I can't have confidence in touch typing as letters get missed all the time. I have to type slowly and carefully, paying close attention to my typing particularly when entering passwords (blind typing). Also annoying. Third, I find that I don't use the shuttle capabilities as much as I thought I would. So, in essence, I paid too much for an unreliable and annoying keyboard. I think I'll go back to a Logitech keyboard. That said, that keyboard light is pretty cool...
