There are spaces on the board that if you land on them everyone drinks or just that person takes a drink.

The box says the game is appropriate for ages 12 and over. I suppose some people would let the 12 year old play it, but we will be returning it.

First of all, it is a drinking game. Now, we can all pretend that teens like playing drinking games with soft drinks and iced tea, but even if they do enjoy it, it is really just setting them up to play with the real rules when they hit college. Again, if your plan is to prepare your daughter for drinking games at college, feel free.

The second problem was that we felt uncomfortable playing with our 14 year old nephew at the table when the questions came up about pubic hairs, condoms, bras, and pig orgasms. Yes, that last one is in there - seriously.

So, I'd say the game is for 18 and over. My opinion. You can take it if you want.

Bought this game for my family. Opened it up to find that it was a drinking game. There are spaces on the board that if you land on them everyone drinks or just that person takes a drink. We just ignored those 2 spaces. After playing the game a couple of time, we came across some very inappropriate questions for kids. It is a fun game, but we had to take out 14 cards (200 cards are included)that were inappropriate for our family. Buy and play at your own risk if you are playing with kids.

I got this game for Christmas. I brought it to my Friendly People Games meetup group in NYC. There are spaces on the board that say Take a Sip, but that doesn't mean it HAS to be alcohol. It could be a glass of water or whatever beverage is in your glass or cup. But the creators of this game are definitely tapping into the college dormitory and fraternity crowd. I don't hold anything against them for that, like other reviewers did. With or without alcohol, this is a fun game. Now for specifics.

This is meant to be played as a TEAM GAME with ideally three or four teams. There are four colors of markers, betting chips and category cards. The categories are:

Red - Wacky, Warped & Weird
Green - Fun Food Facts
Orange - Numerical Nuggets
Purple - Amazing Physical Phenoms

Each card has a factoid and a "line" which is the number that you're betting is over or under. Example question - the line is 60 days. Over/under on the average life expectancy of an ant. Each team has betting chips the same color as their playing piece. The teams bet on whether the actual answer is under or over the given number. You can bet from one to five, over or under. The number you bet is the number of spaces you move ahead or back on the board. Your team moves ahead if you guess correctly, back if you guess incorrectly. The correct answer to the sample question is 53 days, so the average ant lives UNDER 60 days. Teams betting under would move ahead the number of spaces on their chip (one to five), teams betting OVER would move back. A couple of other things:

Teams take turns reading questions. The team reading the question DOES NOT answer, since they can see the answer on the card they're reading
There's a 30 second timer.

Over Under swept our family into a wild night of gut wrenching laughter. My sides hurt the next morning. The game is clever (even has a drinking option on the board) but the questions are what are HILLLLLLLLLLarious. These zany, useless yet intriguing facts are mind blowing and make you want to keep playing well into the wee hours of the evening. Everyone will love it!!

This is a "MUST HAVE" party game for friends and family! The game takes seconds to learn and the questions are hilarious! We love random, wacky trivia in our family and this game takes it to a new level! Here's a sample question: "Over under on the average number of times an adult blinks each day".............. I won't give it away, but it's a lot more than you think!! I would recommend this game to everyone who enjoys a good laugh!
