Suprisingly good, Sounds like late 80's Anthrax,
By A Customer
This review is from: Belladonna (Audio CD)
Joey Belladonna recorded this after being kicked out of Anthrax. It was put out in 1995, it is a good album, and way better than anything Anthrax has released since "TSOWN" with Bush. Some of the songs are better than others, but this is a high quality album with a lot of thought, energy, and effort. Joey is working on new material at joeybelladonna.com Buy this now, you won't be sorry!!Tracks:

Too bad nobody knows about it,

This album is superb. I know probably no one knows about it, and the fact that I'm the first person to make a review on this album 10 years after its release speaks for itself. However this ROCKS hard. This release would have been the logical step right after Persistence of Time. If not better than this album it certainly isn't worse. Trust me, I know my metal and recognize a good album when I hear one. This one is filled with powerfull riffs and great vocals by Belladonna. If you're and old Anthrax fan you should own this album because it simply is that good. If you're in thrash metal in general buy it. And for those of you who don't like old Anthrax, who don't like thrash metal, I'm sure you can still enjoy this metal release nonetheless. Highly recommended.

Kind of Bland,
By
This review is from: Belladonna (Audio CD)
Anthrax and Joey Belladonna were great together. When they split... well, they each got bland. Lyrics and song topics became dull, dull, dull both in Anthrax and for Belladonna. On this album, if you skim the lyrics, it really seems one long rant against his former bandmates. He's understandably bitter. That doesn't always make for a great album. It gets old and kind of bland.
