The directions for this beverage are to add one 1-ounce packet to 1/3 cup whole milk, and I'm sure this would be delicious. I, however, prefer to add the packet to one cup of 2% milk and find it makes great hot chocolate. I like dark chocolate and it may be a bit strong for those people who prefer milder chocolate.

I'm doing Weight Watchers and have made the change to skim milk only. Was having trouble without chocolate and after discovering this product decided to attempt it as my substitute. Wow! Even with skim milk this stuff is great. Now I get my 2 cups milk in, and each packet is only 1 WW points because if its high fiber content. Very satisfying late night drink.

I bought these ostensibly for my husband, but after a particularly bad day I decided to tear into one. I bought four packets in different flavors: cherry, caramel, chocolate-mint and original. Don't worry, I will replace the ones that go into my husband's birthday gift but I couldn't resist.

I used them in an interesting application, which is to make 'frozen hot chocolate'. I took a packet of the original and blended it with ice and milk (actually I used So Delicious Coconut Milk Beverage because I eschew dairy). I like that it doesn't have powdered milk solids or anything else. It's a very pure mix that isn't muddled up by a ton of sugar or extra fanfare.

Great sipping chocolate! Exceeded my expectations. I tried three of the flavors. I am going to get more to replace the ones I pilfered...

Made as directed, this is a delicious drink. But it's also strong enough to extend: I tried it using 2/3 cup half-and-half and it was creamy and simply fantastic.

Even with the hot dairy, dissolving can be difficult. I find that a mini-whisk works wonders; lots of churn without a lot of sloshing.

I am a hot chocolate snob and this chocolate definitely meets my standards! I suggest making it as specified on the packet for the sipping chocolate over the cup of cocoa method. So delicious!

I saw this type of sipping chocolate on QVC. They described it in such away that I just could not resist. I add sugar and a little more milk than recommended for the sipping recipe but it is also the best hot chocolate I have ever had. Just as I would expect form a sipping chocolate, this came out chocolatey without the extra sugariness. I really liked it. The poweder is super fine, which can be a pain to work with when you're trying not to make a mess. The end result is tasty tho - just stir thoroughly.

I recommend following the 4 oz. directions for a rich, velvetey drink. I even tried this with soy! Would buy again, but wish it was less pricey.

It was a little too bitter and not quite sweet enough for me. It definitely has a European taste to it. I wouldn't buy it again.

I must say I was quite disappointed in this product and will not order it again. I had purchased this product a few years ago and remembered it being so full bodied, flavorful and just perfect in every respect. It was like drinking a perfect cup of hot chocolate. But this product while bearing the same name, yet a much different packaging look did not measure up to that earlier experience. I'm still searching for that best cup again.
