NO MATTER HOW DREADFUL YOUR LIFE IS OR HOW STRESSFUL YOUR WORK IS WHEN U PLAY A PATTIE LABELLE CD SIT BACK & LISTEN TO THE LADY SING HER SOUL TO U . SHE KNOWS WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH EACH ONE OF HER SONGS TELL YOU ABOUT THE SAME BUT DIFFRENT THINGS SHE FACE IN HER LIFE (IF U DON'T BELIEVE ME GO BUY OR CHECKOUTTHE BOOK "DON'T BLOCK THE BLESSING" ) & ONCE SHE HIT THOSE HIIIIIIGH (NOT A MISTYPE)NOTE THEN U HAVE BEEN BLESSED BY THE QUEEN.WHEN SHE HAVE BLESS YOU DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!

While none of these were charttoppers for Patti, there are still some outstanding treats contained on the disc. Patti gets sweaty and funky on the classic "Rockin' Pnuemonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu" as well as on "Eyes in the Back of my Head". She's wonderfully poignant on "Come What May" and "My Best Was Good Enough".

However, she really displays the excitement that her fans have come to expect in the atomic "Dan Swit Me", a Mardi Gras-esque tune that ascends to the heights of "gettin' down".

This is one compilation worthy for inclusion in one's library of the diva's music.
