I am an athletic, middle-aged woman who works out regularly. In spite of that fact, my well-toned body has a pad of cellulite that sits on the back of my thighs and rear end. This is very frustrating for me, because no matter how hard I work out, it will not go away. I have tried everything, and it is a problem that has plagued me for years. I have a nice, well-toned butt and thighs, but the pad of cellulite that lays on top of them drives me insane. I saw the Honeybell Bodybuffer advertised online, read the literature and a couple of the reviews, but after I saw on one website the before and after photos that a woman had taken of her thighs, and in spite of my suspicions and doubt, I thought, "why not give it a shot?" I've already tried everything else, and there is that 30-day money back guarantee.

So I bought one. Yes, the price is hefty, but the only alternative I had not tried yet was liposuction, and my Sister-in-Law told me that when she had this procedure done, in addition to being very expensive,it was extremely painful and left dents where the instruments had been inserted on her legs. Ouch. So the high price tag paled in comparison all around. I got mine on sale, by the way, for $300, so that was good for me. But I would have paid more if I could not find a sale; I was that determined.

As to the effectiveness of the bodybuffer, all I can say is this: IT WORKS!! I have had mine for less than a week, and already I can see a difference. The silouette of my thighs is different, my saddlebags are shrinking, and when I asked my husband how the back of my legs looked, he said (in total disbelief), "Oh...my...God...it's working! The dimples on the back of your legs are going away!" My skin is smoother, but I can get that from a shower scrub. I'm not complaining, and the massaging effect is very pleasant, but the fact that I am getting results so quickly for the cellulite has me ecstatic. It's not just making the dimples go away, I can actually see that the layer of cellulite is shrinking!! This, in less than a week!! I use it for about eight minutes on each leg and eight to ten minutes on my butt, twice a day, and then follow up with the contour cream. It's a breeze, and I read or watch TV while I'm using it.

The one or two negative reviews I read, I suspect, were probably written by people looking for miracles, or perhaps someone who didn't want to devote too much time to it, or maybe didn't press down firmly like the directions tell you. I can also say that if you are a very large woman, you will probably have to work harder and longer to get results. Likewise, if you don't have a healthy diet, if you don't exercise, if you drink lots of coffee and alcohol, you probably won't get results either. But if you are fairly healthy, can adopt a diet that isn't loaded with carbs, fat, sugar, caffeine and alcohol, have a decent exercise routine (even just walking briskly daily) and above all, are serious about getting that flabby cellulite off your body--then this baby is the answer to your prayers. If you follow the simple directions--it's so easy and pleasant to use--and are diligent about using it twice a day, you can kiss that nasty cellulite goodbye. Once it's gone, maintenance of two or three times a week has been said to keep the cellulite at bay. Don't let the price tag get in the way, you can pay it off, and it's sooooo worth it. I'll keep you posted with updates on here, so check back with me in a month or so. Thanks for listening.

October 7 - update

OK, so I've been using the bodybuffer twice a day for over a month now and I'm very excited to report that the results of my efforts have been worth it. Big breakthrough in the past week. At first I could see that it was helping, but for the next few weeks I didn't see much of a change. I was determined to keep with it, and I think that some people might give up if they don't see miraculous results within the first few weeks. I was in no way going to give up, in fact, I do what I always do...I work harder. I knew that when both my husband and I could see a difference in the first week that there was something to this thing. I think the important thing to remember is that you have to press down really, really hard on the fat in order to get it to break up. In the past week I started to really grind away, harder than ever, and that is when I saw the difference in the cellulite disappearing. My fat in some areas is as deep four inches, and I know it's going to take a while to get where I want to go with this. I could tell that it was shrinking because I could no longer easily grab my saddle bags between my fingers, and that was cool...but the other day my husband noticed, as did I, that all of the sudden, the fat is just giving in and going away. The bodybuffer is truly a God-send...if you decide to buy one, just stick with it and work at it, press down as hard as you can (it actually feels pretty good, and the massage is awesome) and you will see and feel the difference. It's only been about a month that I've been using it, I will report back in a few months, so check back with me.

This product is GREAT for sore muscles!!! The cellulite takes at least 6 months to see results! But for sore muscles this is the best product I've ever used!!! Especially training for a Marathon it was great on my legs and back....although i would love to see various speeds but it only has one but still works great!!!

The HoneyBelle is the big gun of the pack. They have a light weight
Baby Belle buffer. But this one is the big one that works out the kinks in the body - relieves sore tired feet, and buffs and rubs the pain right out of the muscle. The company provides great feed back on how to massage areas that need special help - areas that are swollen and in need of stimulation to relieve the pain. To remove cellulite, they say to apply more pressure; but for areas of concern, move gently with it, and you get relief. If you legs or feet hurt, this is the ticket - gets the blood flowing and the pain ebbs right out. I asked the company a lot of questions before I bought it and am glad I did. Got my answers. They are a helpful group. And no, I had to pay for my body buffer, so this is an honest review - but sooo glad I have it! Wish they were more reasonable in price. But glad I spent the money.

This tool is amazing. It is a powerful deep massager., much more powerful than i have found before, and easy to use.. very easy. it has 2 handles to really get a grip and push into the sore muscles.. or when you get used to it after 2 or 3 uses you can easily hold it around the neck and reach side and back areas easier.. Skin becomes silky smooth, and looks more vibrant as all the dead skin cells are sloughed off.. increase circulation makes your skin glow and looks great.. I read that the way the pad spins and zig zags releases/relaxes the anchor points that cause skin to dimple with cellulite.. whatever the technical terms are.. it works.. I am never giving this thing up..

My only advise is shop around and buy from the most trusted seller. If you buy from a discount seller, you have to abide by their return/refund policy.

My wife bought the buffer after it was recommended by her physical therapist sister for 'aches and pains'. My wife and I (ages 58 and 61 respectively) have led very active, athletic, and working lives, and as a result carry our share of chronic pains that just don't seem to go away.
I first tried it out on my left shoulder, which has pained me from high school football and a later construction work injury....it was pretty tender at first to the buffer action, but responded immediately to the therapy with relaxation and relief in the area.
Next, I tried it on my feet, which are endlessly sore after about 48 years of running and pounding. Again, the first treatments were short due to the tenderness of the area primarily on and around the big toe joint. At first I just concentrated use on the top of my foot, but as my feet began to respond favorably, I moved to using it on the sides and bottoms of my (clean) feet. Tremendous results to alleviate the pain that would sometimes get so bad, I'd have to quit running for a couple of weeks, and sometimes couldn't even take a very long walk. Now I buff my feet once or twice daily, and haven't had an interruption in my running schedule since after the first month I began using the buffer, which was about 3 1/2 months ago.
Another beneficial experience was after I had a week long golf vacation with buddies. I came home with a sore left forearm as I suppose I wasn't used to golfing that much. Once home, applied the buffer for a couple of days to my forearm, and again got the 'now expected' relief. I'm really not sure what makes this tool different than other vibrators or massage therapy, but I do know it has had very positive results for me. My wife says its due to the impact of the buffer on connective tissue....I don't know. Massage therapy usually does some good on my shoulder for some limited time, but I've never had any lasting improvement impacts on my feet...now with the buffer, I can maintain pain relief from these problem areas and keep doing what I like to do.
Anyway, my purpose for adding my review is that perhaps someone else might benefit from problem or chronic pain areas like I did, if they decide they want to give it a try. For me, there's nothing that currently is as easy or as effective to use on a regular basis for my painful areas that need some therapy. Hope that helps.

I was very excited about this product! Unfortunately, after about 1 month of usage, my hands were tingling from the vibration. I was very nervous that with continued usage, I would have carpal tunnel like symptoms. It was too bulky to hold with one hand and the vibration had side effects!

When I took the body buffer out of the box I instantly recognised it for what it is: a car buffer that has been prettied up. That's all it is. You can buy them anywhere for $25. No need to spend $400. Of course it is totally useless and a complete rip off. It is designed soley for gullible idiots who actually think they can cure cellulite by magic. I wonder who thought up this idea. The only thing that works about it is that it is probably making the charlatans who are selling it incredibly rich.
