My bag of flops was quite varied. I was afraid of a pound of pina colada and nutmeg or something, but I got a good combination of all sorts.

I thought these would mostly be minor defects, misprintings, that sort of thing. There are some freakishly huge jellybelly monsters in there though: five or six ugly mutants all fused into a sugar bomb you can barely get in your mouth, or weird distorted oddball shapes. Some of the colors also seem...not right.

Once you start chewing you can't tell any of this of course, which is why this is such a good bargain.

Unlike most of the other low reviewers, I got a pretty good variety of intact jelly bellies. Inside the sealed bag, however, were four live ants crawling all over the candy. Yuck. I inspected the bag for holes and couldn't find any, so I think the problem was there pre-shipping.

I got a bad selection. Around 70% was coffee or cappucino and pear. I hate THOSE FLAVORS :( WON'T BUY AGAIN.

my bag was full of nasty white jelly belly. But i liked that they were bigger and shape funky but its almost just filled with nasty flavors. I'm happy that i got them at the dollars stores and didn't pay alot for them.

There was less of a variety in this bag. The shapes were interesting. :) There seemed to be a preponderance of one flavor (root beer) which wasn't a lot of fun, but they were really good for the money. Personally, I'd rather pay the extra money to get ALL the delicious flavors. -Jelly Belly Addict

As a fan of Jelly Belly jelly beans, I went to their Web site to order the 50-flavors box. However, with the only option of $8 shipping (making my order total over $20), I bitterly decided against it. Then, I saw a link on the site to Belly Flops. They were only $8 (instead of $15), and the shipping was half that of the first item I looked at.

I was somewhat worried that because the Belly Flops ordering page stated that if you buy more than one bag, you're guaranteed to get a variety of flavors. Did this mean that since I was ordering one bag that I would get only half the flavors... or less?

When the package arrived, I opened it to find a huge bag of many-varied jelly beans, all pleasantly distorted in shape. I had paid less than $15 for a bag I haven't been able to finish yet! (It's been weeks since the bag arrived.) I've very pleased with the purchase.

they may not be perfect to sell at Jelly Belly but that does not take away from the taste! I love these, and now I have everyone at work addicted to them also!

Belly Flops are a great way to get a nice sized sample of some less than perfectly formed jelly bellies! The package is filled with a variety of flavors and is a great way to experience the not so perfect jelly bellies!

for belly flops at $8.00/bag.... you've got to be kidding... they should be 1.00/bag... remember...they are trying to get rid of these. They are defective and not made of gold. and then after reading the comments where you order 2 bags and get the same exact thing... that's bad.

I ordered and received 2 bags of belly flops thinking that I would get a good variety. I was so disappointed!! I got 2 bags of an identical mixture - 60% cappucino, 35% french vanilla and the other 5% was sour grape. It was a waste of money and wouldn't be interested in ordering Belly Flops again. The advertisement for Belly Flops suggest you'll get a good variety, however, the opposite is true.
