I was very surprised when I first tried these, because I was expecting delicious chocolate but instead they are somewhat flavorless. Obviously the vitamins are great and needed when you're pregnant-but the taste is bland. Luna bars are much, much tastier.

I've been carrying these around for the past five months of my pregnancy. With not much room in my stomach these days, the bars make a nice hold-over between meals. They're vegetarian and contain many of the nutrients it can be harder for me to get as a vegetarian, including omega-3s (from algae, not fish). The other thing I like about Bellybars is that they're not horribly over sweet. So many granola-type bars try to compensate for the nutritional contents by overloading them with sugar, or fake sugar--even worse. I can't really taste the toffee in these, but the chocolate is enough to make them mighty tasty.

I purchased this item upon finding out I was pregnant and thought the taste would be GREAT based on the reviews. Unfortunately, the taste was just OK. Tasted kind of fake...but since it is healthy, it is a fairly good alternative to some of the other junk food we are tempted to eat. So overall, decent for taste good for nutrition.

The Chocolate Toffee Crisp Belly Bars are my favorite! They have been a great snack while nursing, especially when I have needed a mid-morning or mid-afternoon boost of energy and sustenance. They are delicious and fulfilling. They are well worth the 4 Weight Watcher Points -- they go towards the 10 extra points I get per day while I am nursing. The one thing to watch out for is that your toddler will love them too! Buy enough to share!

these bars are perfect for throwing in your purse for when you are out and about and that 'i have to eat NOW' hunger hits you. they are really tasty, and have all the vitamins you need for the day. i tried other pregnancy bars and found them kind of gross tasting, so this one was a nice surprise.

it's the perfect on-the-go snack. the toffee is pronounced, and it's not too sweet. i've had my fair share of bars, and will stick w/ this one thruout my pregnancy...

I enjoyed these as a treat during my pregnancy. However, I would not recommend them nor will I eat them during my next pregnancy. They are very expensive and there are much healthier (and more natural) snacks in the world. I'm going to save my money for more important things and eat healthier this time around.

I purchased these for a friend who just had her baby and was nursing, and I figured she could use a quick snack when she didn't have time to make one. She said they were delicious, and so I bought some for myself and I LOVE them. They're not too sweet, and a little expensive, but they do the job. And, I don't feel guilty eating them! I like them better than Luna bars. Luna bars are yummy, but a little too sweet for me.

I haven't felt like eating in weeks but force myself to. Tried this bar today and I WANT MORE! Yummy!

When I first tried these, I didn't have a high opinion of them. At first it reminded me of eating grass. However, since they were a little pricey, I wanted to eat what I had. Then the taste started to grow on me and now I love them. They are the perfect on-the-go bar, and with the extra folic acid, I can't go wrong. The only criticism I have is that they tend to be inconsistent, some have a little more intense flavor, and some tend to be a little bland. I love the chocolate toffee flavor, but the orange chocolate flavor is my favorite. A great pregnancy snack while on the go.
