5.0 out of 5 stars Great support for gestating twins
I'm in my 3rd trimester with twins and I like this support garment. Anyone who has carried 2 babies knows that its definitely a strain on your back. This is surprisingly supportive and its much better under clothes than a regular maternity support belt because its smooth and doesn't show at all even under flimsy summer dresses.

I'm glad I got it a little...

Tried this on right away after recieving, was so excited. I'm a very active mom-to-be and was looking for extra support expecially during workouts. At 29 weeks and having gained 25 lbs already, I found that the small was a little too small, but the medium too big- the small was hard to get on and off because it was tight at the top especially, but once on was generally comfortable. Product irritated the underarms at the seams when active. Belly portion fit well and was confortable, but the band at the bottom did irritate my skin a bit, and felt "tight" because it was somehwat narrow elastic (2"). Very see-through garmet. Nowhere near sufficient as a sportsbra, even for small chest size. Does provide significant warmth as a base layer, so with addition of sportsbra and t-shirt, got overheated easily.

Overall, plan to return, as there seem to be better products out there that are wider at the bottom, and not integrated as a shirt/bra as well.

I'm glad I got it a little larger than usual because I'm carrying twins.

The only con is that it can be a little hot because the shiny fabric doesn't breathe.

4.0 out of 5 stars good support!, November 5, 2009

This belly bra gives great support for the tummy and is very comfortable. However, if you have wide scoop neck or v neck tops, beware because the neckline is narrow, and the belly bra will show inside your top's neckline. Good product for wintertime esp when you are wearing turtlenecks etc.

The bottom part makes my belly hurt and cramp a little. Otherwise, I like it. I do have a long torso, so maybe it fits better if you have an average or short torso.

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!, September 13, 2010

I love this thing!
No, it's not extremely sexy and yes, the straps are way too wide on my shoulders, but it is comfy. I was able to spend all day on my feet sewing, cooking and cleaning. The back support is great and the lower belly support is even better. I ordered a medium and it fits perfect around the belly but my boobs are a little too small for the cups. No big deal just a little extra fabric. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a little pick me up! (p.s. much better than the "prenatal cradle") I think I should have ordered the black lace one too...

This review is from: Bellybra Maternity Support Tank (Apparel)
I am not a tall individual only 5'3. Pre pregnany about a size 6 and have gained about 7 pds thus far. I am still in my second trimester but I thought I'd give this a shot. I like it for the most part, but I find the tank to be too short. That would really be the only thing I change about this. Otherwise I like everything else about it.

This product didn't stop the lower back pain I was experiencing, and it doesn't provide any support for your breasts like a bra does. I'm disappointed in the product have completely stopped wearing it. I now wear the Mother-to-Be Maternity Support belt, which does stop my lower back from hurting.

4.0 out of 5 stars Helps a big belly!, October 3, 2010

I bought this product late in my pregnancy after I started having pain from my expanding belly. It really helped support it without being too uncomfortable or hot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Takes a day of getting used to then... IT'S AMAZING!, September 20, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I am on my 3rd pregnancy and I am just now 20 weeks and due Feb 8, 2011. I also have what is called Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. I am 6'0" and 160 lbs. I bought the size SMALL in NUDE. I researched many different belly support systems to find what would work best. I have the mommy to be support system which has a band that wraps around under the tummy than another thicker band that wraps around the back for back support, then a smaller band that goes over the tummy. I found that system to be big and bulky and it slips when I sit down. Ugh it just became a pain in the butt. When I got this BellyBra I automatically put it on. Was about as difficult as putting a snug sports bra on over you're head, so not to difficult. The back of it sits a little higher for back support and the front sits all the way down by my pubic area which is great. The belly area is thinner to accomidate the growing belly which is great. All around great product and is so comfortable. I can't wait to wear this the next 20 weeks of my pregnancy. This product was recommended to me by my friend who had worn it her intire pregnancy for back pain and loved it also. She just had her baby Sept 8, 2010.

3.0 out of 5 stars So So, March 6, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
It helped a bit, but the cinched part under the bust starts to irritate after awhile. It would make it kinda sore, so it was trading one soreness for another.
