Product Description

This intelligent full-torso support garment provides gentle support for the lower back and abdomen during the third trimester of pregnancy. Functions like a maternity belt but is soft, flexible and much less restrictive. Also, may be worn exposed, under jackets and sweaters like a camisole. The worst part is the elastic band at the bottom of the tank.
When i would sit down the belt just felt too tight, no matter how much i would loosen it up i could still feel it.
It is very comfortable and gives great support for my growing belly.

I'm a pretty active mom that works a full time job, chases a 3 year old, maintains a house and is about 30 weeks. I was having difficulties with upper back pain that I didn't have with my first pregnancy. The BellyBra helps quite a bit with posture by supporting under the belly and as well as pushing in the lower back a few inches above the coccyx.

This is a tank to relieve back pain, it's not a fashion statement. Because of where the bands sit to provide the support, this may have several limitations, depending on how curvy you are how tall you are. I'm about 5'5" and wear a size 6 prepregnancy and in maternity clothes. My current bra size is 36C. I bought a medium, and it fits well. The bra area is a little large and I still wear regular bra, but the belly is comfortable with room to grow. I'm not skinny, but I don't have a lot of excess fat in the lower back and above my hips. I'm carrying in the front.

    - It relieves minor to moderate back pain, most likely due to problems maintaining correct posture due to pregnancy. I cannot attest to its use for round ligament pain or other pelvic pain, since that has not been my issue.
    - Smooths the belly, and hides the "outie" under regular clothing
    - Is far less obtrusive than other maternity support belts when worn under lighter weight clothing

    - It might not be enough support for women in severe pain.
    - The band rides up in the back. That's how it corrects your posture, but it may leave taller ladies feeling exposed. On me, the band on my gap under belly jeans is about 1-1/2" below the bottom band of the belly bra
    - The lower band 2-1/2" above the top of the hip bone (on me). If you have any fat here, it will create a bulge.

I read all the reviews before purchasing this product. I was very concerned about the "sizing" due to a lot of reviews saying it was tight or binding. I think the people complaining about sizing did not read the details thoroughly, and assumed like (most) maternity clothing and accessories you order you PRE-PREGNANCY size. NO, you order your THIRD TRIMESTER BRA SIZE (according to the package Small 32/34, Medium 36/38, Large 40/42, X-Large 44/46 and XX-Large 48/50. I am 20 weeks so I guessed my my size and there is defiantly room to grow in the belly. The back support and belly support I can already tell a difference.

There is only one review I agree with, it does ride up in the back, which makes it feel kind of strange if you sit down.I stand for 9+ hours a day so I just have to adjust after taking a break or driving. But I see it more as something to get used to than really something that I hate. If it was a tad longer I would have given this 5 stars.

I do not find that the straps are to wide or the neck is to high, the only time they show is when my shirt gets bunched up because of my 20 month old or my purse. With the WIDE necks that all the maternity shirt come in now I actually feel a little more "covered" with the bellybra on. It pretty much follows my bra line. It is also a BELLY bra it is meant to support your belly don't think it is made to support your breasts, it does help but it is not made for that (if you read the details of the product).

The material breathes rather well, I work in a large retail building and the AC went out this week, it did not feel like this garment made me any hotter than I would have been.

All in all this is a great product I feel it is well made and will last my entire pregnancy.

I bought both a white & black in XL. I probably should've gotten the L, but it's only slightly too big around my bust (36F) & belly & fits well under my belly for support. I normally wear an XL in both maternity pants & tops.

Within 15 minutes of putting this on, the sciatica I'd had for a week was gone -- my maternity belt wasn't able to do that! My back has felt more supported as well. The band at the bottom is a bit narrow & does make quite the attractive upside-down muffin-top under it, but this is easily hidden by clothes. It also makes my belly (now being stretched out for the 4th time) less jiggly even when I take it off at the end of the day, so I'd say it's a fair trade-off. I wear this with a bra because I need the extra support -- the bra portion of the bellybra has about the same support as a nursing sleep bra -- not a lot.

I am really happy with the BellyBra. I am 25 weeks and have lots of pelvic/lower belly pain from the weight of the baby. This product helps lift and support the belly, and I've definitely noticed a reduction in my pain. I am a bigger girl, 5'9 and 200 pounds, and surprisingly the medium is the perfect size for me. It does fit snugly, and that's where the support comes in. I normally never go without a good supportive bra (38DD) and I've been pleasantly surprised at how often I am wearing the Bellybra without a regular bra under it, at least around the house. I bought and returned the Blanqi support tank because it didn't offer firm enough support, and it was so much more expensive. I like that I don't feel jiggly in this product, and the band under the bust defines your belly from your chest, making a nicer shape. I was concerned because a lot of reviews complained about the neckline, but I haven't had any problem with it. I wear a normal maidenform bra normally and the neckline of the bellybra basically follows the shape of my bra. The back is narrower, more of a t-back, but it doesn't bother me, or show under most of my shirts. The lower back comes up higher than I would have liked, but I think that design is what offers the excellent belly support, so I'm fine with it. Overall, I'm really happy with this product and I would recommend it to anyone who is having pelvic pain or just feels jiggly and self concious during pregnancy.

UPDATE: I'm now 33 weeks and still wearing the Bellybra every day. I honestly couldn't get through the day without it at this point, and I'm thrilled that I found such a fantastic support garment. I could probably take a size Large at this point but I'm still wearing the Medium and it's fine, just a little snugger around the hip than I'd like. My doctor has even commented on how supportive and comfortable it looks. I hand wash and hang mine and it looks brand new. Highly recommended!
