This is a good cd, but not a great one. I was so excited when I saw Bellydance Superstars II, since the first CD is incredible! I use these for performing in restaurants and I felt that this CD didn't have enough variety to do a whole show. Most of the songs sounded like pop recordings, there weren't any "performing" pieces that had a lot of tempo changes and rythmn changes that would lend themselves to a great choreography. I'll still use some of these songs, especially the first track, but if you're looking for a repeat of the first Superstars CD, this isn't it. Hopefully Superstars III will be better!

Wow, what a great selection of songs! Each song is a pleasure to listen and to dance to. I have a wonderful time dancing to this CD for my dance shows and my students love it as well.
This is the best bellydance compilation I've heard in years, and it's also better than the first Bellydance Superstars. Highly recommended to avid listeners of amazing Middle-Eastern beats and dancers who can't get enough of shake shake shake!

I listened to this CD just a few times before it grew on me, and it did so quickly. My first impression was that it is completely different than the compilation of Volume 1, so if you own the first CD, keep an open mind and let go of your expectations. Where Volume 1 contains mostly bellydance and middle eastern classics, Volume 2 is made up of more modern, pop and techno tracks, such as "Entrance Of The Stars," a song that was composed specifically for the Superstars and Desert Roses. This one has several shorter tracks suitable for solo performances and I like that! I found the perfect song for my sword dance in this compilation! I think that it's important for a dancer to be willing to try a variety of music and dance styles, and this is a great addition to your library.

I love this album so much, it's got a different song for every mood. All my friends can't stop listening to it as well. Even though the first Bellydance Superstars is awesome, I love Superstars 2 even more than the first. Like they said in the album, ARE YOU READY TO SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE?

I had purchased the CD at the official vendor and, based on my enjoyment of the dance and music at the performance, thought that it would be a nice little piece of memory. The compilation definitely had louder tones, and not as much fun as Vol. 1. I can most certainly do without the lingering static in the background of some of the tracks (esp. for, I think it was, track 13). My recommendation: - Listen to it first before you decide to make the purchase, but it's probably best to leave the CD and purchase the DVD instead.

I enjoyed this one very much as well. Not as much as the first one but hey.....greatness of music is in the ears of the listener. Again the variety of music is great and there is plenty in both Superstars albums to bring out the choreographer in us Raks Sharquiteurs.

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!! The second volume shows a lot of maturity by the songs selected. I am very pleased with all of them, there is fun songs and more performance songs for stage. I really recommend Bellydance Superstars 2 for all styles to perform to and great to listen to. Way to go Bellydance Superstars 2, can't wait to see your performance in Los Angeles.

This was not as good as Vol. 1 The songs were too long & while "authentic", weren't very danceable. Some of the beats are irritating, and there's hardly any plain acoustic songs. Skip this one and stick to Bellydance Superstars #1, which is far more danceable and not as melancholy as this one.

I am belly dancer and have been for almost two years. I recently bought this cd and it is really good. I feel like there is a lot of variety, though I still have to say, I like number one a little better. It's still good. I have to point out, at the Utah Belly Dance Festival, I heard a number of these songs a gazillion songs. Remember, if you are doing a performance, and want something really unique, these songs are commonly used. Some more so than others, I admit, but still.

The CD has most of my favourites in it such as Entrance of the Stars, Raks Bedaya and Habibi Ali. Worth buying to keep.
