This is the best pro stand I have seen and heavy duty and well made. worth the cost not easy to tip over. You wont be dissapointed.

I like the way it looks; it's sturdy without being overly heavy like the manhassets (which I also like and have used for years); it's stable and fairly portable. Highly recommended. The adjustment clamps and couplings are plastic, but should not be a problem unless you plan to overtighten them to the breaking point.

Tubular stands are taking over the market with their weight to stiffness ratio. It would seem the sturdiness of the plastic parts that make the telescoping happen are superior to many other stands (even with good names) on the market. Only time will tell, but this seems like a winner.

This is a really nice stand. Heavy and sturdy and stable. Adjustable height to tall enough for someone 6'4" at least (I'm guessing - I'm 6'0") with tripod sturdy legs. Adjustable book holder. I am very pleased with this stand.
