Well-written. Great way to explore the bible and get to know the disciple John inside and out. One of my favorites. Could be a first bible study or one for someone who has done many over the years.

I have just finished Beth Moore's Bible study "Beloved Disciple" for the second time. This time around, I was fortunate to study with a group using the video materials. It really adds a lot to the study experience. But this is a terrific Bible study even if you just do the workbook by yourself. The subject matter is Jesus, of course, but with a unique twist: getting to know the Lord through the eyes of the disciple who Jesus loved, John - one of the "sons of thunder". John has always been my favorite apostle - probably because I identify with him so well. After doing this study, I feel even more closely associated with John.

Beth Moore takes the student on a fascinating and life-changing journey through the gospel of John, the apostle's three letters: 1-2-3 John, and the book of Revelation. If possible, do the study with the videos and a group. If not, do the study anyway. Beth Moore is gifted in the area of teaching and inspiring. I am thankful that she has been one of my teachers.

We used this excellent book in a ladies' Bible study. Since my teacher did an excellent job and always does, I could not determine how much of the material she presented was from Beth Moore's book and how much of it was from my great teacher.

Anyway, I studied my book carefully. As the pages revealed more about John and as I read the cited scriptures, I came to understand his relationship wih Jesus and understand more about my relationship with Jesus.

I highly recommend this book.

This is the Beth Moore Bible study book. It is a study of the life and work of the disciple John.

This study book includes commentary, discussion, and opportunities the student to become involved by answering questions in the study book.

I've studied the book of John with my church's women's group several times, but have never gotten this deeply into it. Beth's books are so good because she pulls pieces of scripture from many parts of the Bible to create a final image of a person or event. The teaching doesn't just come from her own opinions. The utter beauty of some of her revelations have literally brought me to tears. One of my favorite authors.

This is an excellent study guide. This study is proving to open my eyes again to how unique God's Word is and how much it applies to my life. Going through the study will be helpful no matter how long you have been studying the Bible. I would highly recommend it.

This is another of Beth Moore's excellent Bible studies. I would recommend it to anyone.

Beth Moore is a fantastic writer. You really learn a lot about the people in the Bible that she writes about.

This book and bible study was absolutely beautiful. The book and the video offer something separately. At times it was intense but it challenged me and I loved it. I see John and the other disciples so differently now. It has also changed how i read my bible. She helped me to focus on each individual word and not to mindlessly and monotonously read through my bible. Her video made me cry multiple times and gave me goosebumps. God has blessed Beth Moore with a words, written and spoken and its so obvious in this series. She helped me to love my God more. I am in fact Beloved.
