This CD is for people with an "above average" taste in music. Not whatever happens to be popular with the 12-20 year olds or on Music Television at the moment! This band is on a European label and hard to find. They are not popular in the US because of what IS popular.... why bother with a US market that is over-run with rap and pop princess's? Our corner mass market store chains arent going to carry anything that wont make tons of money fast. and if you are a good speller....Extasy isnt spelled like the drug MDMA aka Ecstasy, and the band DOES NOT promote disrespect towards ladies with lyrics that are so dumb and thoughtless sounds like a 17 year old male whos never had a relationship with a real person must have written them. So music is getting better, we just cant get it here.

I purchased this product after hearing one of their songs on Last.fm. I was very disappointed. Although I did enjoy "Beloved Enemy," the rest of the songs were repetitious--they all sounded alike. I'll not be buying anymore of their work.

It is not my intention to disparage the band--they are competent--it's just that they aren't "my cup of tea."

You can be a really good band, but if you start off mocking the Savior before you even record a song . . . someone should have told this new German band about Wall Mart. When you inject the "J" word in this context, this country, and this century, you lose a lot of audience, particularly when you appear to actually champion drug use (you enter their website by clicking on "trip in").

Sucks for them, because there is definitely something here, a kind of next century Sisters of Mercy by way of Evanescence feel which works pretty good. Despite looking like Lestat's back-up group, the music is actually much gentler than you might imagine, and very melodic, "Injection" for example is a very good song. Even rather dark stuff like "Dead Presidents" is pleasant to the ears. Not everything works, "Lies" is a hodgepodge mess, but overall this a solid CD. Dorian Deveraux looks and sings like a star, and their lack of exposure on this side of the pond is difficult to explain . . . unless it's their band name.

One thing I'll throw out as a suggestion, there's two chicks in the band, it would be good to toss in their voices more in the background. If they can sing at all it would add to the wall of sound thing this group has going.
